ODOP - Day 14 - Wherever You Go

Hello friends,

It's Wednesday. The theme for today is Paper Flower. My favorite theme. I love flowers.  This card carries so many famous brands for each thing on the card. This time I play with flower stamps from Stampin Up! They are from 3 different stamp sets. They also come with punches. The punches make the work easier. I just stamped and then punched. The ink pad was the new one from Hero Arts Shadow Ink: Fresh Peach (mid-tone). I love that color. The leave stamp was from Papertrey Ink. The word stamp was from Hero Arts. The die cut for the circle swirl was from Sizzix. The new one in my craft room. The pattern paper was from Doodle Designs. The four-petal flower punch was from Carla Craft. The sentiment was from Mama Elephant. See that, so many brands. They are my favorite ones.

ODOP - Day 13 - Enjoy Little Things - Tea Time

Today's ODOP is about Tea Time. The theme is from me. I was randomly chosen to give a theme. Hehehe. I like drinking tea and the theme suddenly  came to mind last weekend. I remember this ATC I made some years ago.


I made this project yesterday. I used a set of die cut: Bag, Tea Bag & Accessories from Where Women Cook by Sizzix. I used paper: Brown Damask from Eco Park. The tea itself was Lipton Tea. :D

I tried to make the pictures of the project. Ohlala... It took me 1 hour to come to the end of photo session. The first was on the edge of the swimming pool. But...oh,, it was soooo windy. Everything flew. And the green birds was getting so wet. I had to replace them.

Then I moved to the living room. I shot photos from several angles. Here are some of them.

ODOP - Day 12 - Garden

Hello friends,

How was your weekend? I did have a wonderful one. I could stay at home and relax. It's a rare moment I could have. Almost every weekend I would be away from home, either in town or out of town. So relaxing that I only read, chatted and ate. Lol...

And here we go. The new week has started. Today's ODOP is garden. Gardening is actually my other passion. I just don't have enough time to do it. In the past, before I joined the school, I did gardening once a week. I love to decorate my porch with the pots of flowers. I visited some nursery to buy some new plants. I think I will start it again, after I settle with the craft gallery stuffs.

I remember I ever bought the AI stamp set in SSS. It has arbor, leaves, grapes and bunny. Actually I needed more stamp if I wanted to complete the picture as it is. Well. it's not easy to find AI watercolor stamps.

I made 2 cards. On the first card, I used ZIG Art & Graphic Twin markers. Those were my favorite markers to make stamping like painting.

On the second card, I used ZIG Clean Color Real Brush markers.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I love Hero Arts sentiments. I have lots of them. I used a brush for both of them. Just to make them look like a painting. I love the technique. Because it really made me feel at ease. So relaxing. I think I will fly to Sing and visit JDA to find more AI WC stamps there (as I promised them before).. Coming?

The conclusions: I need more colors of those two ZIGs. Lol..

ODOP - Day 11 - Family TIme

The ODOP theme today is Family. I decided to use our picture that was taken last July on my youngest daughter's birthday. Yes, I have 3 beautiful daughters and a handsome husband. ehem..ehem..

I used a background paper from October Afternoon. The phrase cards are from Pebbles "Home Is Where Your Story Begins". Yeah.. everything comes from home. That's why, as parents, my hubby and I give our best to educate my kids. Raising 3 girls needs a big concern on their feelings. We must be able to be their close friends, whom they tell all stories they have each day. I love listening to their stories, the sad ones and the happy ones. Me, I have to be everything for them, as my hubby lives really far away from us. He comes home every two weeks.

So, here is my layout.

 

 I like a layout on 8"x8". The size doesn't require much embellishments.

ODOP - Day 10 - You Make Me Happy - ATC

Hello friends,

Meet again. It's Friday, and it's my free day. I usually clean my house and craft room on Fridays. That is why I finished these ATCs earlier today.Yes, ATC is the theme for today's ODOP. We may make between 10 to 40 ATCs, then send them to Silvy and she will swap all the ATCs. How lovely!

To make these ATCs, I used the MISTI. It's a very helpful tool. I love it. Look at below. I put the grid paper on the left side. I fixed the ATC paper on the certain grids. See the arrow on the right side. That is the stamp. When I folded the cover, the stamp would be on the top of the ATC paper. Fabulous!!

(p.s. I promised my friends to make a compatible MISTI. I still don't find the time to make one. Perhaps later..)

I used 6 Versa Color ink pads. Then I covered the middle of the flower with black frantage and pink shabby frantage outside the flower. All stamps are from Altenew: Painted Poppy. Love this new stamp set..

I made 16 ATCs, then later, I will get 16 different ATCs from 16 friends. Isn't it wonderful?

ODOP - Day 9 - Postcard

Hi friends,

The theme for today's ODOP is a postcard. This theme enabled me to use my only postcard stamp from Stampin Up! one one side. I like this stamp. I really wish I could make more and more postcards, so that I could do swap with other postcard lovers.

Anyway, this is the postcards I made this late afternoon (after coming from school, of course..). These is each side of the postcard.

The other stamps are from Hero Arts. They are old stamps, but I still adore them. They are: Hydrangea, Old French Writing, a bird from CardArt Decorative Birds and a butterfly from a set of Antique Engraving. I still can remember how difficult it was to get those famous Hero Arts stamps at that time. Wow! So that's why I won't exchange these staamps to other ones. I love them all.
The other stamp is the dots stamp from Kaiser Craft. I don't understand, why it is so difficult to peel the stamp from its plastic.

I used DI ink pads: Victorian Velvet, Tumbled Glass,  Old Paper and Shabby Shutters. Those are the colors to form a shabby look, I guess..

I didn't use any embellishments, because I want to send it via post, which means I need to glue a stamp on it. I hope it reaches Sylvia.

ODOP - Day 8 - Celebrate - Sparkling on Black

Well, today was awesome. Today was the first day for me to teach again in the class. All the students are the best students at school. So, I hope they will compete to reach the best of them.

Today's ODOP's theme is put something on a black. Well, apparently, it wasn't that easy for me to execute. Lol. Finally, I decided to put something sparkling on black card stocks. I made these four cards. I used Hero Arts stamp, stamped it on a versamark, then I poured the glitter embossing powder from Ranger on each, then heated them. Voila...

The silver doesn't look silver on the picture. It's very difficult to get the shiny look on silver. The rest are better shining.

Ok, until tomorrow..

ODOP - Day 7 - Happy Birthday Shaker Card

Today was a busy day. I went to Jakarta to meet some friends. Most of all, I wanted to meet my daughter. Then the second one was to surprise my sister who had a birthday today. Here is the picture compilation of today. It was a pleasant day.. Praise The Lord..

And when I arrived home, I quickly made this card. A shaker card. Hope it's not too late to post.

I used MFT Oval Stitched die cut. The flowers are from Waffleflowers. Hope Jovita will like the card, as today is also her birthday. Happy birthday, Jovita. God bless you..

ODOP - Day 6 - Favorite Country - Japan

I'm back from the Jogja Japan Week in Yogyakarta. I was there for 5 days. I gave kurumie workshops. It was a great success for me and my team. We earned so much. Hehehe.. Praise The Lord.

Today, the ODOP is about the favorite country. It is Japan. I wish I could visit the country again. I want to see the cherry blossom. I also want to be under the tree and have a picnic there. :D

So, here is the craft I made. It is kurumie. The lady brings an umbrella. She is wearing a yukata.

It's so lovely, right? The size of the frame (inside) is 5R or 5" x 7'. If you wish to buy it from, me, just let me know..  It is fresh from the craft room. Lol...

ODOP - Day 3 - Blue and Jogja Japan Week Day 1

Today I'm in Yogyakarta. The first day of the Jogja Japan Week. Before I show you the pics, this is the creation for ODOP Day 3. The theme is: Blue..

ODOP - Day 2 - Never Give Up

Wow!! What a busy days. I will be attending a Japan Festival: Jogja Japan Week in Yogyakarta. I will be giving a kurumie workshop and also will join the bazaar. So, the preparation was the biggest preparation ever.

I managed to make this card. It will be for a charity. The theme is: Never Give Up.
I used the Hero Arts stamp. I think this is my fave stamp, too. I colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush.

Colorful Tags

It's September!! It's a time for another ODOP ; One Day One Project hosted by my crafty friend, Silvy Wijaya a.k.a. Odop Bu Broto. The theme for today is : Warna-warni = colorful. I made these 5 tags. I used the MFT ribbon die cut. The stamps were from one set, also from MFT. The round tags were from Lawn Fawn die cut. The ink pads were all from Versa Color.

Love Never Fails

Happy Sunday to you all...

I made this photo frame last night. Nothing else to do and I just got the newest die cut. It's Rosette Heart from Waffle Flowers. Amazing!!

So here is the result. On the picture: my daughters and I. The photo was taken on August 1, 2015, on the 75th birthday of my parents-in-law.

Take a closer look at the Rosette Hearts. They are so beautiful... I added a punched heart on each middle point. The sentiment is word sticker from Authentic.

I love trying new tools and share it with you. This Rosette Heart from Waffle Flowers is really recommended. Love it.
