ATC Hero Arts arrived

Wow!! Incredible... This is my first international swap that I joined. I sent 9 ATCs to HA hostess (Shari) in America. Then she sent me 9 ATCs from 9 different person. I wish to know where they live. So, I searched in the Flickr and found some of them. I even got ATC from Israel!! That's the country I wish to visit some day. Here are the ATCs, including mine, in the upright corner.

Thank you to Hero Arts that made this swap possible. Thank you Shari, for your effort.

We Love Heroarts - Mini Meet

After 3-hour travelling by train, I arrived at my Mom's house yesterday Sunday morning. I prepared everything, including the snacks and venue. Then I waited for my friends. The first batch arrived at 10 in the morning were Monika, Ayu and Rini. Next was Stephanie Lucy. Next was Eva, then Yussy, Rieka and the last was Fika.
We were 9 girls who adored making cards. Each of us has a special interest in cards. For example, Rini and Lucy enjoys quilling. But since they met us, they tended to try some stamps as well.

Here is some of us with the "We Love Hero Arts" banner. LOL. I made this myself in instant. We showed all the clear stamps and clings that we jut got and we brought here.

Left to right: Eva, Ayu, Me, Rini, Monika, Fika, Rieka.

We did not only make cards but also were exchanging stamps, nesties and cuttlebug folders. Everybody was free to use every single tool we had yesterday. We even exchanged our stamped images (I have Anya images now). It seemed that my Cuttlebug machine was a primadona. They had to queue to use it... LOL... Here are our nesties and some of cards we made. The cards made based on the sketch of Mojo Monday. I had posted my other card for the challenge. Maybe my other friends would finish the card embellishments and posted it last night.

Since I came from other town, I didn't prepare for the lunch. So we decided to order some Chinese food. This is the noodle that I ordered. So yummy...

We enjoyed our togetherness. They seemed wanted to stay longer and longer. However, their husband picked them up at the hour they asked, so they had to go home. The last person was Monika who left my Mom's house, around 6.30 in the evening. She even managed to take a picture with my Mom (my 70-year-old adorable lady)

What a card crafting day!!

Thanks for looking.

Joy To You and Peace Deer

My English might not as good as I thought. LOL. It took days for me to understand the meaning of "trimming", as a challenge in this week Hero Arts. Looking at the cards and decoration given in HA blog didn't make me easily grab anything to decor my cards. Wow... what an English word..

Thanks for looking.

Leaves Merry Christmas

This leave stamp is part of my first stamps I bought long time ago. I bought it in 1986, when the PSX store was still in Jakarta. I love this leave stamp, as I think, here in my country, I don't have to wait for these last months to use it. Any time I can use it.

I enter this card to join CPS 142 for its challenge this week. Her is the sketch.

Hope my card meets the sketch..

Happy Holidays

Hi there, it's been a week that I don't post anything here. So busy with other stuffs.
A couple day ago, I read on Lucy's blog and she challenged us for the first time. The colors used are pale pink, aqua blue and kraft. I don't really have aqua blue on anything I have here. So hopefully this card can represent the colors of this brand new challenge. Thanks Lucy for the chance of showing what we make...

Thanks for looking, my friends...

Merry Christmas Deer on Red Card

LOL... another deer card.. As I said, I am falling in love with the deer... I tried to use the red card. It was embossed first with Dots folder. It went also for the small green inside the rectangle. The rectangle was cut with the Nestabilities Label 8. Wonderful tool. I love it. The circle was punched with Scallop Circle from Paper Shaper then embossed with Snowflakes folder.

I enter this card to join Cuttlebug Challenges Be Inspired #57.

Deer and Snowflakes

I love this stamp. It just arrived, the deer stamp. Love it so much. And it is much better, when the Copic marker also arrived almost at the same time. Perfect, though the deer only has one color. I used CB folder dots and snowflakes. The snowflakes were punched with Paper Shaper Giga Punch. (I love everything big..LOL..)

Thanks

I made 4 cards today, and this is the last one I made... You know what? I saw Virginia Lu's blog which appeared first in my Adorable Blogs. When I clicked, wow.. she made a cute card using this sketch. That's why I also wanted to make a card using the same sketch. Here is her blog where she made the card..

I enter this card for Card Patterns challenge Sketch 39.

I used Creative Memories Cutting System to cut the semi circle. The look of the shell, actually was an oval scallop. I cut a bit at the bottom. And then embossed with Thanks folder, but before being embossed, I scrolled my brayer to the folder with Mango Ink. Well..well, my brayer is new, so this is the first time using it.... The leaves wer punched from Punch Bunch Giga punch. (I like everything big...LOL...)

Thanks for looking, my friends...

JOY

Christmas cards are on the way... I must make more and more to put them in one of the Christian bookstore in my town. The cards I made this year are much much different from the ones last year. Most of them are using the sketches, stamps, embosses, and new markers, Copic markers.
Do hope the customers like my cards, and of course will....buy them... LOL...

This is the pattern for CPS 140 challenge.

I also enter this card to join the Challenge 84 So Many Scallops.
I used my scallop punch for the circles. THe MS doily lace was used for the rectangle.
The stamp for the doll is from Her Arts Holiday Dolls.

Thanks for looking, my friends.

Happy Thanksgiving

In my country, we don't recognize "Thanksgiving". But as an English teacher, I must know exactly what it is. The countries I explained were USA and Canada. The time of the day is different in those two English speaking countries. This year, Canada celebrated it last October 12, where USA citizens will celebrate it on November 26.

Well, I made this card for you who celebrate this event. I myself am thankful to the Lord for making me able to make cards on and on....and also to run my small craft gallery in my town.

I used two kinds of CB folders. The leaves were stamped 3 times in 3 different papers.

Challenges for this card are "Give Thanks" and "Thanksgiving".

Thanks for looking. And...Happy Thanksgiving, my friends...

Glad to have more time to make cards today. I finished all the cards to sell on the Balikpapan Expatriate Women's Club. Some Christmas cards. And now I joined the Cupcake Craft Challenge 64. This is the sketch.
LOL... Is this card okay for a wedding card? Black cardstocks make it gloomy?? Just tried orange, green, purple and black together. This is the result... LOL...
