ODOP Day 5 - The City - A Glam Life

Hi friends,

Here I am, on the fifth day of "One Day One Project". The theme is: The city, for a glamorous life of a celebrity.. It's so much fun, right?
When I read the theme, my mind directly went to the stamp I bought 4 years ago. I used the stamp from Hero Arts. It's also an old one - Citiscapes, produced in 2010.

 

I used Versamark and stamp on the black card stock once and did the same thing for the half of it.
Then I used the silver embossing powder. I added some star sequins. Then, in the middle of each sequin, I dropped a Diamond Stickles to cover the holes. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.The black card stock was adhered to a silver card.

 

Then.... here comes the most difficult thing! Taking the picture so that the sparkling silver buildings protrude. Wow! I never thought it was that hard. For an amateur like me, it's very challenging. I took more than 80 shots. Lol... I tried different ISOs. And finally I have the two above. They are the same photo. The second one was edited for to become lighter. The ambiance was at night. So the card is surrounded by a quite dark light. Below is the card with the biggest ISO, 5000. You can see the card in the light.
