Thanks!

Hi friends,

This morning I was inspired with a card on a magazine called Paper Creations. Then, I made one with the same sketch. I think, that's the reason we buy craft magazine, to inspire us. Agree??

The stamps are from Hero Arts, both are clings: Branch background and Dots; and the sentiment is from clear stamps set: A Million Thanks.
I adhered the white cardstock on a so-called kraft paper then adhered again on brown cardstock. The ribbon is an old ribbon that I bought looooong time ago when I was still in Borneo. Gosh, it looks so beautiful on white. Where have you been?? Have I forgotten you my orange ribbon? Ow, so sorry, then. I love the color combo and this really brightens my morning..

I enter this thanks card to join Hero Arts September challenge. There's still time to join until September 30th. And also MTTC Challenge with the theme: Looks Like Autumn. One further more for Simon Says Challenge this week: It's Autumn. I wish to be able to enjoy Autumn, too..

Ok, friends, have a pleasant start of the day. And thanks for looking.

Your Kindness Is Truly Appreciated

Hi friends,

Today I managed to make a small gift bag. It is very simple as I
only fold an A4 paper. Then I added the stamped white paper. I actually stamped it with the Madness Mango ink color, then I stamped slightly with red and orange ink colors. I'm a bit satisfied with the result. I put it in front of the bag, added a flower and more leaves and also a sentiment.

This is for the Hero Arts September contest second batch. The t
heme is harvest, halloween and thanksgiving, and featured technique is making simple gift bags. You can click here, as it is still going on until September 30th. There is still time, my friends. This is my gift bag.

And this is the closer look on the layered flower. I added All Purpose Ink (Champagne Mist) on the edges of the flowers.

I used Hero Arts stamps. For the background, I used Branch background. The flower is from Printed Flowers set, and the sentiment is from Truly Appreciated clear set.

Thank you for looking...

Thinking Of You for Nature

Happy Sunday, friends..

I managed to make one card yesterday and just have time to post right now. I stamped the Silhouette Grass from Hero Arts with the Mango Madness Ink color. The stems were colored w
ith Zig. This is the nature I love to see whenever I travel near the countrysides. Especially when the sunlight was on the background. So lovely.

Well, however, yesterday I heard over the radio, that ou
r own "nature" will come out when we are in pressure. When life goes on as it is, our nature won't come out. When a pressure comes, then our nature will show up, whether it is negative or positive reaction. Then I was thinking about it deeply and I said yes in my heart. I quite agree with that.

Okay then, this is my card. This is for Simplicity: OLW with Nature as the theme.

Indeed, nature seems to be the inspiration for most of us.
Both the grass and the sentiment stamps are from Hero Arts.

EBTK Challenge for the 1st time

Hi friends,

I'm back again. Aihh.. I was so inspired today and this is the first time for me to join EBTK Challenge. I really dare myself to join, because I've seen so many fabulous cards from adorable card makers who have joined, and I felt so "little"..LOL...

It's Challenge 23 with this sketch.

And this is my take.

It's so simple to make. I used the embosser to make the border, Hero Arts clear stamp for the image, which are colored with my 'magic' Zig markers. You know something? I bought this border stamp more than a year ago and this is also the first time for me to use it..LOL. I think there are still more 'not-yet-used' stamps in the drawers. I have to dig again and again.. Wanna join?

Ok, friends, that's all for today, two cards in a row. Thanks for looking.

Believe In The Magic Of The Season

Hi friends,

Is Chistmas really coming this soon?? Wow, September is one more week to go, then comes October. Ah, at least it is coming on my craft desk. Is it already time to make X'mas cards in bunches? Wowohoo..

This afternoon, I was really inspired by one of the DTs' cards in Caardvarks Challenge: Clean and Simple. CAS is really a challenge for me. So, I made this card.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts. Punches are from Paper Shapers. I punch the snowflakes on that green cardstock, and the trees on the white one. Hmm, after smelling 'autumn', now I smell 'christmas'.... Ahh, time flies soooo fast...

Thanks for looking, friends.

Thinking Of You With A Layered Flower

Hi friends,

Good morning. It's a lovely morning here and I am really in the mood of making kits for flowers. Yer, maybe it's too late for me to start making this kind of flower. However, in crafting, I believe, nothing's too late. Now, I'm addicted of making this lovely flower. Thanks for everyone in YouTube who inspired me so much. Sorry I can't name you one by one, because I came to many making flower videos..

I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge 37. This is the first time for me to join their challenge. Here is my take.

This is the closer look on the flower. I scanned the Chopin Es Dur music noete and printed it. Then I used the nesties to form this scalloped flower. I used 5 pieces of paper.

I used cling for the background and clear stamp for the sentiment and both are from Hero Arts.

Thanks for looking and have a happy day..

Hi friends,

This late afternoon, I managed to make another card. Again, it is on white..

e theme of all white except the image is from Incy Wincy Designs challenge this week.

Here is the card.

And this is the closer look on the image. I did some paper piecing on the curtain.I really love this image. Though I've never seen snow, I think it's beautiful to watch the snowflakes fall through the window. Or is it too cold, eh..?

Thanks for looking, friends...

Thinking Of You in Orange

Hi friends,

How's your life today? Hope everything's okay with you. Me? Well, a little bit flu and my youngest DD got a chicken pox. Since she's still three, so the dots are still countable and she still looks happy as if nothing happens to her.

Just now, I managed to make a card in orange. I enter this to join
Wee Memories Challenge
#23 - S.O.S. theme (Scallops, Orange and String)! This week the challenge is to incorporate any 2 of the 3 designs, Scallops, Orange or String. This is my take. And by the way, this is my first time joining Jenny's challenge. Love her works so much.

I used Hill Flowers stamp from Penny Black and used my fave technique. And the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Thanks for looking, friends. Have a nice day..

White on white Moose

Hi friends,

I've been that busy with my kids, starting school again. I just managed to make one card today. This sketch is from Paper Cupcake TMITA. I made white all over to make the image protruding. I even didn't add any sentiments. I actually thought that this moose is in Autumn and is trying the new scarf and thinking whether the scarf color is okay for the coming winter. The grass is in between of green and yellow-orange. (the moose isn't on fire..eh..?)

Here is the card.

And this is the closer look.

Thanks for looking, friends.... Have a great weekend.

Hello Sakura

Hello friends,

It's Monday afternoon here. Oh.. I feel more than ages that I haven't connected to the internet for the past 4 days. It's an Eid Mubarak holiday, so the kids are at home, and I prefer to be with them rather than be in my gallery. That's why I haven't posted anything until today. I even missed the announcement from Hero Arts, telling us that my friend's work, Ayu's, was on HA blog. Congrats, Ayu...

This is my card for Simplicity challenge: B&W with a Spot of Color. Talking about B&W, I remember my youth, with photography as a hobby, hunting for fu
nny or beautiful moments to catch, then processed the negative into B&W photos. Fabulous time..

This is my card.
The sakura branch clear stamp is from "Asian by Design", Inkadinkado. The sentiment clear stamp is from "Doodle Wings", Stampendous. Sakura shape used Carl punch.

Thanks for looking, friends. have a fabulous day...

Special Delivery

Hi friends,

What a cute sentiment I just got here from Create With TLC. I think Paulette is so humorous. The sentiment says "Special Delivery, precious cargo, handle with care" and it is really suitable with the digi stamp she uploaded in her
blog.

I use the sketch from
Card Patterns Sketch 80. Here is my take.

I enter this card to join The Crazy Challenge: Bundle of Joy.

Thanks for looking... Have a pleasant day...

Update: It is here.. Thanks Paulette.

Sending Smile Your Way

Good morning, everyone..

It's Wednesday morning, here. Kids are not going to school due to the Idul Fitri (Moslems) holiday. They are free for a week. I managed to make these Aster flowers yesterday, and just finished this card. I feel good that I've come back to my collection of punches. So many flowers I can make, and I just realized it. I'll upload the tutorial in the Multiply account later on. The account is
here. You'll find the tutorial of Peony and Cosmos, as well.

I used the sketch from CPS 183. I added some sun shapes to make it a li'l brighter.

This is the closer look on the Asters.

Hope you have a g

I enter this card to join three challenges:

Thanks for looking.. Happy crafting, friends..

Cosmos 3-D flower

Hi friends,

Do you still remember that I dug again and again all my punches and craft books? Yesterday I made the Peony. Today, I made this Cosmos. The punches used are actually the basic punches that most crafters have. I bet you also have punches of Heart, Sun, Cosmos, Leaf. They are from Carl Punch and Punch Bunch. It took me not too long to make this one. It's quite easier than Peony.

I put the flower on the card based on the sketch given for Mojo Monday 155. It's a contest. This is my flower on this sketch.

The closer look on the 3-D Cosmos.

Thanks for looking.. Happy creating with everything we have...

Peony 3-D Flower

Hi friends,

Meet again. Last week, I dug my drawers to see my collection of punches. There are more than 200 punches, small and big. They were and still are adorable collection. Then I came to the collection of craft books. They are also more than 300 books, thin and thick, hard cover and soft cover. I finally found the books that I bought 2 years ago in Ebay. Lovely books about using punches to make 3-D flowers.

Then today, I tried to make one, ane here is the result.

I used Carl punches : CP2 Apple for the petals. CP2 and CP1 Sun for the stamens. I used PB Dusty Miller for the leaves. So, what do you think? An apple punch can create a peony? So lovely. I shall try to make another flowers like Dogwood, Daffodil, and Iris. Two years ago, I managed to make an orchid. I'll show you the result later. Wow.. I feel good to come back to my collection of punches.

You can find the tutorial here. Worth to try, happy to see the result...

Thanks for looking, friends...

Cook Up A Card - September Recipe

Hi friends,

Wowowow... it's September now.... Time flies sooooooo fast. Don't you think so? In my country, the months ending with "ber" indicating the months of raining. So, be ready for much rain starting this September. I remember the song:
Rain, rain, go away
Come again another day
Little Kezia wants to play
Rain, rain, go away

The first time I found this song, I immediately changed the name into my first Dd's name. So, since that time, every time the rain comes, we oftern sing that song. My Dd even taught that song to her younger sisters later on. Raining also makes some leaves fall.

This is the
Cook Up A Card recipe this month:

3 colors of Autumn
2 ribbons
1 poem.

This is my take on that recipe.

Don't hesitate to join us. Thanks for joining the challenge. See you then
.

Let's Go Green

Hi friends,

It's late Thursday here... The weather is fine. And I just remember to make this card. Digging in the stamp drawers had made me find this tree set stamp and the bamboo stamp. The theme this week in OLW Simplicity is Trees... So here are my takes.

The card below used Hero Arts. The sentiment is my hand writing. The slogan has been announced so well everywhere. Do we go green by using papers for our cards? Eh...

The other card is lovable. I love this bamboo stamp. It's from All Night Media. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

I enter this bamboo card to join DDSB this week: Write Me a Message.

Thanks for looking, friends....

Love Conquers All

Hi friends,

Back again on the craft table this morning and managed to make a card. Just a simple one. The sketch is from
IC Sketches 81 and the image was a freebie from Paper Cupcakes TMITA. This time Nina needs to see the PPC image and the card without bought pattern papers.. Making cards without p
p is not that easy. It's really a challenge. Love these two cats. I also used my old brand new puzzle punches. I bought them around 6 years ago and I just used it for this card.. LOL... I think I have to dig again all the punches that I have and hope to find 'this is it' more and more...

The sentiment is from Create With TLC. Almost day by day, Paulette gives freebies.. Check her blog. I really love this sentiment, as it is stated clearly in the Bible. I do agree with what it says. Do you agree?

I also enter this card to join Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge 45: Anything Goes.

Ok, friends, until then.

Update: It is here.. Thanks, Paulette...
