Ginger Candies for Christmas and New Year Celebrations

Hi friends,

My DDs and I just finished packing some goodies for the Christmas and New Year Celebrations. We'll have a big reunion on Christmas day at my parents' in-law's house. So we made the ones with the Christmas tags. And for everyone who will come to my mother's house, will get the candies with Thank You's tags. Th
ese ginger candies are the best ones, I suppose. They are inexpensive and easy to get. Moreover, they are good for your health. Each plastic contains 10 pieces of candies. Here are the pics.

Hope everyone enjoy the ginger candies. Do you want some? Just leave your comment and email me your address, will you?

Sources: Hero Arts stamps for the front and local stamps for the back part.

And this is my card for today. Source: Hero Arts Stamps. See the shine on the scarf's doll. I am still addicted to using Glossy Accents...LOL... By the way, I made fifty cards like this one and they are now for sale on the Christian store in my town.

Thanks for stopping by...

Joy To All - Silver, Blue and White

Hi friends,

It's almost Christmas!!!

I thought I would not join any challenges until next year....LOL. Because I made almost 100 Christmas cards and I felt a bit "dizzy". But the challenge from Simon Says Stamp Challenge with the theme: Silver, Blue and White really demanded me to make this quick card. These are my favorite colors. I adore all colors, but white and blue seem to be my fave ones. And Silver, wow..all my jewels are
made of silver. I love silver so much.

So, this is the card I made using my new Penny Black stamp set. I know it is not new in Penny Black, but I just managed myself finding this set in the store in Jakarta. Isn't it fabulous? Being able to buy stamps in store in Indonesia? Indeed, it's not that easy to find stamps here. We need to buy online or via friends who sell in Multiply or Facebook accounts.

More pic of the card:

I used the light blue cardstock, and the silver one. Sorry I can't take good pic for that. I colored the image with Copic. The scarf was colored with Popcorn Marker then I heat embossed it. So cute, right? The red bow was given a little Glossy Accents (still my fave stuff). The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Also join this for challenges:
The Crazy Challenge: Let It Snow
Mami Doodles #17: Cherish your Online Friend (it's for my friend that I met in Facebook and happens to be my close friends in making cards)

Thanks for looking and so grateful for your comments.

November CCC

Time flies soooo fast, friends... It's December now...

I just received this card for November CCC from Sharon Dunn - Canada last Saturday. This is her card. And she included some ribbons and brads. So lovely. Here are the pictures.

Well, what Sharon wrote on the post-it papers inside her card is really touching. This is what she wrote:
So thoughtful. Thanks, Sharon, for this.

It also happened to me, as this was the first time for me to send my card to
Johannesburg, South Africa, for Leonor Erwee. This is my card for her. I also enclosed some things for her.

I do hope she enjoys all the things..

I love joining CCC held by Deborah Nolan.
She's awesome with this idea, sharing cards with other card makers in this globe.

Thanks for visiting..

PS: I put my card for Lee as the header on this blog, right after sending this to her...

Hello Ribbon

Ahh, the tiredness made me do some mistakes in writing the challenges and the title of the post in the previous post...

This is the card I made before really going to bed. I used the PI stamp, colored with Copic markers. The ribbon is one of the newest ribbons I just have.

Hello Swirl

Hello friends,

I'm back from the town that I love most, Balikpapan, East Borneo... I joined the bazaar held by the Expats' Wives there, visited the house I occupied years ago, visited the campus where I taught 5 years ago, and of course, ate favorite food. I really enjoyed my time there.

Some quilling cards of my friend were sold out. Some of my vintage and Christmas cards were sold either. Here is the pic of my table.

And this is the card I made. The stamp is from PI. Well, not a good pic to focus on the hair. The hair was colored with Popcorn marker, a black one, then heated. It is popped.

Joy To All - Glossy and Crackle addiction

Dear friends,

From the title I think you can guess that I am addicted to these two kinds of liquid. Yes... Look at the card below..

Look at the hat below. The white part was colored with Popcorn Marker. It was popped. So good. Then I applied the Crackle Accent. Not too bad...
And for the snowflake below, I applied Glossy Accent to make it shiny.

Love applying these two kinds of liquid on any embellishments I added on my cards...

Thanks for looking.

Merry Wishes

Hi friends,

Been away for a while. I've made 26 cards with Pure Innocence stamps. They include this Christmas card. Lovely image, isn't it? And the flower, do you know where the paper came from? Well, I recycled the packaging paper. The inside of the packaging paper has this polkadot pattern. So, I didn't throw the paper but kept it and made some flowers with this paper. Lovely
. The green lace is the newest lace I have right now. In the scrapbook store in the mall, I saw it was on sale for quite expensive price. I bought the similar lace with so cheap price but the quality is the same, in the retailer shop. Love it, since this green is my fave green.

Image was colored with Copic markers, and the white 'fur' on the hat was given l'il Popcorn marker

Have you made your Christmas cards yet?

PS: I have never thrown away the packaging papers and invitation envelopes as they can be recycled and turn into beautiful embellishments.

My card is on Elizabeth O. Dulemba Newsletter

Hi friends,

Do you still remember my card above? Last night I got a message from Elizabeth O. Dulemba in my wall in Facebook, telling me that the card had actually been featured in her October newsletter. You can read it here. Thanks so much, Elizabeth, for letting me know and appreciating my work.

If you happen to find difficulties in searching good images and the images you really need, you can go to her blog here.

Thanks for reading, friends.

Merry Christmas To You

Hello friends,

This late afternoon, I managed myself to make a quick card. No..no.., I don't have MS board nor Scor Pal, to make the embossed grids on the white cardstock. I just happen to have a paper trimmer that has a surface to do this embossing.
Love the result. This surface has made me easier to make a fold on everything. Do I still need MS Board? Badly...LOL...

Look at the poinsettia. Isn't it gorgeous? And the leaves behind the poinsettia, wow.. so adorable, I think.. If you wish to buy some of them, just leave your comment here or you can go here.

I enter this to join Cute Card Thursday: Anything Goes and One Stop Craft Challenge 105: Embossing. And also the one in Flickr, in Die Cut Divas.
And one more for the challenge that I just found out: Just Add Ink : #43 Just Add Christmas.

For The Love Of Music Parade

Hello friends,

Who doesn't like music? Who doesn't like crafts magazine? Who likes both of them? Me! Me! Me!..LOL. Yes!! The Papercrafts magazine showcased all the fabulous cards in the November/December 2010 issue. Love all the details on it. And the article about "For The Love of Music" really really inspired me to make some cards. Music on cards!! Wow!!

I imitated 2 cards with the stuffs I have on my stash. Making these cards really bring me enjoyment. I possess many new stuffs, so I tried to use them on my cards. I used Glimmer Mist and Versamark. Two adorable things that I can't stop using..

First is this one. It was on the magazine cover. This is how it looks on the cover:

made by Kelly Marie Alvarez

And this is mine:

And this is another one with the bird on it. This one in in the magazine:

made by Clouds Shadler
And this is mine:

I also made another two cards.

It's so glad to have such adorable magazine on hands and try to make the similar ones. That's the reason the magazine has been published, right?

Thanks for looking, friends...

PS.: The cards I made here are all for personal use. Hope the original designer don't mind.

Mini Meet with Card Lovers

Hai friends,

Last Saturday, I went to Jakarta to meet my fellows in making cards. We were in Rina Damay's place in Sudirman area. She has a wonderful place. Moreover, she has a walking closet which are full of.......stamps!! Also ink pads (complete Ranger Distress Ink Pads), Stickles, etc., etc. It's a real WOW!!! It was exactly a typical time of ladies who met together. Did we make cards? Not really!! LOL.

We did stamp a lot, punch a lot, read Magnolia mags, share where to buy these and those. And most of all, we ate a lot. At the end, we exchanged goodies. Wowohoo.. The pics will tell you what we've been doing.... Enjoy..

We are Hero Arts stamp lovers
We really adore TILDA from Magnolia
We are eaters, as well..LOL

We are Cuttlebug lovers, too
We love all the food
We love the goodies that we exchanged
Thanks, pals, for this togetherness... Love this friendship so much.

A Card of CCC

Hello friends,

This is a card from Anita Recksiedler, Canada. It's from September CCC. Thanks so much, Anita. Your card is so adorable. Yours confirmed me to buy Glossy Accent...LOL. So sorry, that I received this way. The paper was a bit loosing the image. Touched by water? And the envelope was opened and sealed with the cellotape. Well, that's okay with me. Look at the stamp, the flower on it is so beautiful. I treasure this all.

Thanks for looking, friends.

October CCC

Hi friends,

Been a while not posting anything here. These are the cards for exchanging event in Deborah Nolan's blog: October CCC.

This is my card for Annette Hjerpaasen in Norway. I made it based on the sketch, the theme ( I chose friendship), and the colors. The colors mentioned were nutmeg, fawn, taupe, eggshell, burgundy. Tot ell you the truth, I am not familiar with names of colors. I only know colors of rainbow...LOL... I said to Deborah, what I knew was only burgundy, because my hair is in burgundy color now... ehkk...

And this is the card I got from Heather Doran in Ireland. She said that this is the farthest she's ever sent a card all the way to Indonesia... Thank so much Heather, for the pretty card, the rub-on, some gems and silvery string. Love them all...

I'm so glad to always participate in Deborah's CCC. I meet another card maker around this globe. We make new friendships every month, at least 2 new friends each month. Isn't that beautiful?

Thanks for looking, friends...

Cards With MS Border Punches

Hi friends,

I have several MS border punches, and I made several cards with those punches. The purpose was to show my friends in Multiply account that they can buy those have from me. You know that MS punches are not that easy
to find in my country since they are sold abroad and quite expensive.

Her
e are the cards. The bird card was adopted from one card in Papercrafts Mag, July-August issue.

Thanks for looking.

(PS.: If you need the MS punch-outs, you can go here)

September CCC

Hi friends,

Been a while.. This is my card for Jenny Swords in Ireland, as I joined the September CCC held by Deborah Nolan. As I forgot the sketch and the color choices, so I just made the one with Friendship theme.

I used Hero Arts clear stamps for the swirls and the flower. Punches are from MS and PB. The white pen was the one from Pilot (I bought it not on purpose on my trip to Schenzen)

And the card below is the one from Rikke Poulsen from Denmark. I "met" her in August CCC.

Actually she was not the one who had to send me a card. We just did some swap. Beside this card, she also sent me some petite roses, paper flowers and colorful nets. So lovely. Thanks Rikke...

And I am still waiting for the card from the lady who was supposed to send me the card...

Autumn Pics by Barb Especially for Me

Hi friends,

In the countries with four seasons, right now is Autumn. I ever mentioned that I've never seen any autumn happening in my country. Barbara, then, told me that she would upload the pics of the Autumn she would have in her country. And she did. She sent me a Flickr mail telling me that today she would post those pics.

When I went through her post, wow... I can tell you that those pics really took my breath away. So beautiful, indeed. I think Autumn is the loveliest season among those. You can see the pics in Barb's Autumn post. Barb is so thoughtful. She took some pics especially for me. I can sense that while taking those pics, she was thinking of me. That's so lovely, Barb.

I wish I were there once again to feel the moment of Autumn. (The first time coming to USA was on October, some years ago. Houston seemed not giving me lots of chances to feel that Autumn at that time. But I could smell the pine, see the squirrels and spend so much time walking).

Thanks so much, Barb...

WCMD 2010 - Cards of Togetherness Among Indonesians

Hi friends,

How's your WCMD? We had a fabulous day. Though we we
re separated by roads, islands and oceans, but we can connect each other via Facebook. I asked my friends to make a card on that day and upload it on each wall. It was great. Everyone made one card. Even there was a friend who never made a card, she made one. Wow.. Isn't that fabulous? Now, it's me who have to update all the cards made by us. Posting a photo in Facebook is seen only once and then forgotten. So, it is made purely to treasure them in one post.

Here are the cards made by us. They are all gorgeous and exposing that through cards, we are friends. I arrange them in alphabetical order.
