Day 48 - Surrounded by music, surrounded by love

Hi friends, meet again.

Today I taught at school. I taught how to make two kinds of simple notebook. The students were amazed with the results. They never thought that it's so easy to make a notebook that they find in their house, next to the telephone.

After that, I went to the craft room and immediately made two cards, but this one appealed me. I found this clef cling. This is the first time I used it. I just stamped it with no sketch in mind.. LOL.

Supplies: Clef cling from Hero Arts, Distress Inks, pattern paper, MFT sentiment stamp

The closer looks on the details:

Tomorrow I shall go to Jakarta to visit the biggest handicraft exhibition. I will meet some friends of mine who open the booths there. I will go there with some neighbors. Everything has been prepared by the company. Between the visit, I will also visit my Mom who just took the cataract operation yesterday. Hope to see her well.

See you again.

Day 47 - You are perfect the way you are

Hi friends,

It's good to come back to making card after a week. Lately everything has been flying so fast and so many activities to do. Since yesterday, I've felt a bit relieved and today I managed to make this card.

Supplies: MFT butterfly die-namic, PTI butterfly die, twines, Hero Arts sentiment stamp, Distress Ink

These are the closer look:

Thanks for viewing my card today. I do really hope tomorrow I can make another card.

Day 46 Sending Smile Your Way - CFAS #25 Anything but

Hi friends,

Been MIA longer than I thought. I couldn't connect to the internet for some time. Now I'm back. I do really hope I can make a card a day as I promised myself to do so.

This is a time for Crafting For All Seasons challenge #25, with the theme 'Anything but a card'. I made a simple box, covered it with red paper, tied it with light green paper, and adorned it with the image from the only sponsor of the challenge: Tifanny's Doodles. The image is 'Morning Glory', which you can fine here.

This is the box with the image on it.

Supplies: Tiffany's Doodles image, Carla butterfly punch, Punch Bunch leave punch. PTI cloud die, MS border punch, Copic Sketch markers

The details: take a closer look on the image. It's a wonderful image, isn't it?

Look at the vase with the water below. Love to color the stems in different colors.

I hope you can visit all the DT's blogs and see their wonderful creations. Don't hesitate to join the challenge. It is a fortnight challenge, so you have plenty of time to create something.. Have fun..

Day 44 - Happy Easter For You

Jesus is risen!!

Happy Easter, my friends...

So glad that I finally made myself to the end of 40 days of abstinence: not doing the favorite things. There were some things that I really adore to do. So during these 40 days, I tried hard not to be tempted with all those things. Thanks to Jesus for making it happen. ;D

And for today, this is my card to greet you all. My assistant and I colored the plastic eggs with acrylic paint. So adorable. Surely my students will love decorating them next Wednesday. This craft was supposed to be given to them before Easter, but due to the Easter celebration at school, so the craft class was cancelled. No problem. For the card itself, I chose this image. First I wanted to stamp Tilda Painting Egg. At the end I stamped this cute little girl holding a basket of eggs. I pieced the face (head), the dress, the hands and the basket. It means, I stamped it three times; twice on the white card stock and once on the pattern paper.

Suplies: MFT stamps, Carla egg punch, MS grass punch, Bassil card stock, Copic sketch markers, pattern papers

Take a look on the details below. First the closer look on the card itself.

Then, look at the image. I hope you can see the paper piecing I did.

And the sentiment was punched on the eggs punch outs.

Have a great celebration of Easter, friends. I myself will have it with the Sunday school activity where my second and third daughters will be on the role..

See you again..

Day 43 - Life Is What You make It - CFAS #24

Hi friends, I was MIA for two weeks. Oh... things came on and on. And time flies so fast. So many things happen during this two weeks. And today, I made this DT card for challenge #24 April Shower at Crafting For All Seasons. I used Jani's image. Lovely image, isn't it? I used her other image for the last challenge, too.
Supplies: Jani's digital image, Bassil card stock, Hero Arts background rubber stamp, MFT sentiment clear stamp, Scrap King lace, and some local half pearls.
These are the closer look: I did some paper piecing on the boots. The sponsors are: Bugaboo Digi Stamps, Jani's Kreativwelt Digital Stamps and The Stamping Boutique. Don't hesitate to join the challenge. It's worth to try on digital stamp, if you've never done it. Really. You can resize the image, and even you can just print and color the image using your own markers, or color the image using your computer ability and print it. Easy, right? The other advantage is, you don't need visual storage for this kind of stamps. Ok, see you again...later today or tomorrow. I still stick to my commitment to make a card a day..starting again today.. ;D..
