Tag 12 - Jesus is the Reason for the Season

Hello friends,

It's the final tag of #12tagsofchristmas that I promised myself to make before Christmas this year.

It's a simple tag. I stamped the image and the sentiment from Hero Arts using Versamark ink pad. Then I heat-embossed with white embossing powder. After that, I rubbed a foam with DI Faded Jeans. The white image and sentiment showed up. And I cleaned the image using a tissue paper so that it would be real white.

Happy Christmas, my friends....

Tag 9, 10, 11 on Happy Mother's Day

Hi friends,

Yeah... I missed two days to upload my tags of 12tagsofchristmas. So here they are, in a row, tag 9, tag 10 and tag 11.

Tag 9: I simply tore the tags from the Kaiser Craft paper pad. Then I adhered the first one with the flower on the green tag from Papertrey Ink. The smallest tag was adhered using a foam tape. The burlap twine was tied several times. It's quite easy. I think I will use the tags from the pads quite often.

Tag 10: It's simply stamping on a white card stock with DI Weatherwood. The stamps were from Hero Arts. I colored the wings with Copic, bu before that, I had to heat it. Then I used Champaigne Mist for those to angels. I poured some frantage on the 'crowns'. Then I added several sequins and then tied the twine several times.

Tag 11: I cut 4 triangles form different pattern papers in one pad of Kaiser Craft. First, I rolled a red twine on the kraft paper ia made for the trunk. Then I adhered the triangles using foam tapes. The star was from Sixxiz. The twine was from Maya Road, that had Christmas colors.

These three pictures were taken by my daughter. I was really occupied with everything. I needed to pack the clothes, prepared all documents for the insurance. Oh my soul... It's a hectic morning. But, I finally could finish everything.

We're heading to Jakarta. I have to see my hubby in the hospital. I left him last night on the care of the talented nurses. Hehehe.. Last night I went home by train. And this morning we're already on the road back to Jakarta.

And today is Mother's Day Indonesian version. So, Happy Mother's Day to everyone of us. Our journey as a wife and as a mother is an education that we plant on our children's minds, that someday, they will do the same to their children as we do to them. Be a good wife, be a good mother.

Ok, until tomorrow, for the last tag. See you...

Tag 8 - Embossed Noel

Hi meet again,

These are the tags I made for today. They were embossed using Sizzix embossing folder. I just embossed 2 parts of the folder, not the whole one. Then I distressed with DI. Quite easy. I stamped Noel sentiment from Papertrey Ink. Easy peasy but still cool. Try this one...

See you again tomorrow...

Tag 7 - Joy

Hello friends,

I was missing in action yesterday. I attended the funeral of my uncle in Jakarta. I met so many close relatives. Here are some pics. Sometimes, it is necessary to join the funeral, because that's the best time to meet the relatives who scattered. You know, if we meet like this, we always use Betawi language. That's the original Jakarta language. Hehehe...

And this is my tag 7 of 12 tags of Christmas. I used MFT for the tag. The Christmas ornaments and the sentiment were from Stampin Up. The sentiment was stamped using Versamark, and then heat embossed with the black embossing powder. I also embossed some frantage. The bow was something like burlap in red. Well, this is just a simple tag...

See you again in the next tag..

Tag 6 - Pink Poinsettias

Hello friends,

It's Thursday and the time flies so fast....

I made these tags. I want a different color for Christmas. I chose pink. I die cut 3 kinds of poinsettia petals.

The first: The square Fleur de Lys die cut was from Spellbinder, as well the white Label 1. The poinsettia was from Memory Box, but the green leave was from Spellbinders. The sentiment was from Papertrey Ink.

The second: The scalloped circle was from Marianne die cut. The poinsettia and the leave were from Spellbinders. The sentiment was from Papertrey Ink.

The third:  Oval tag was from MFT. The poinsettia was from Marianne die cut. The green leave was from Spellbinders. The sentiment was from Papertrey Ink.

Take a look at these lovely pink tags.

Which one do you like? Let me know in the comment.. :D

Tag 5 - Peace On Earth

Hello friends,

Meet again.

I just got a grief news. My uncle passed away this morning. So sad knowing this news. He was a doctor. He got 2 kids and 2 granddaughters. Since his wife is my mom's sister, we were close enough. So I shall go back to Jakarta either tomorrow or Friday for the funeral. I'm still waiting for the news from my Mom.

In the meantime, I made this tag.

The tag was cut from Papertrey Ink die cut. The branch, well, as I don't have a bare tree stamp, I used a branch for flowers from Altenew. The birds were punched using MS border punch. The sentiment was from Stampin Up!

Let there be peace on earth....

Tag 4 - Simple Tags No Word

Hi friends,

I just returned from Jakarta. I spent the morning with my daughter. I taught her how to use the washing machine. She needed to wash her clothes by herself, because the maid was absent for three days. Then I chatted with my mom while watching TV. I spent more than 5 hours with her at her house. In the late afternoon, I went to the railway station, and took the train to go back home. Quite tiring. And I made these tags. Simple ones.

I used the die cut set from Sizzix. The new one in the craft room. I used pattern paper for the trees and the stars. Sometimes, we need to make simple creations.. :D

See you again tomorrow.

Tag 3 - White on Kraft + Anniversary Story

Hello friends,

Today is a special day. It's our 19th wedding anniversary. Yeah... it's been nineteen years. We've been through the ups and downs as husband and wife, as mother and father, and as a whole family. We started the family from nothing. We only depended on my husband's salary. Sometimes it was enough, sometimes not. We've moved three times. From Jakarta to Bunyu Island (northern part of East Kalimantan), then to Balikpapan, and finally to Cirebon. However, my husband's work has moved again to Jakarta and then to Gresik. God provides us with everything we need. Until we could build a house and a boarding house. Some people see us as a lucky family. It is. We always believe that the kindness we do will return in its time. We just do the kindness without expecting in return. We believe God won't have debt on us. He always repay.

We love travelling. Those are some pictures of our trips.

And today, these what we did. In the morning we did the MCE at RSPP. In the evening, our first daughter joined us for the dinner at Marche. We had a wonderful whole day.

And this is the tag 3 for 12 tags of Christmas.

The Wreath Leaves cling was stamped using Versamark, then poured with white embossing powder and heat-embossed. I added red berries using Papertrey Ink and doubled them with Stickles. The sentiment was from Papertrey Ink.

Thanks for reading my post. :D

Tag 2 - Three Girls in Pastel Colors

Hello friends,

Happy Sunday

Here are my second tags for 12 tags of Christmas...

I cut tags using Papertrey Ink die cut. They were white card stock. They I distressed the tags using 2 colors: blue and yellow. I stamped this set of girls from Hero Arts. They were quite old stamp set. I still adore them. I colored them with Copic markers without gradation. Just colored them with 3 different colors. For the hair, I recolored it with Copic Multiliner 0.7. The sentiments were also from Papertrey Inkc. I love this kind of sentiments. I tied each of them with twines Shore then tied a ribbon using twine Buttercream.

I adore the result. Just the way I wanted them to be.

Today is Sunday, no special things. I played keyboard twice in Sunday school. Then in the afternoon, I traveled to Jakarta by train. There, I met my hubby. He was having a small reunion with his HS classmates. One of them was my college mate.

In the evening, we went to the hotel to spend the night there, because on the following morning, we would have a annual medical check up. I met this cute dog again. It's Junior. It was our sixth meeting. He looks healthy, bigger and taller. I just wished I had had a dog like him.

Ok, then. Until tomorrow.

Tag 1 - Noel on Neenah

Hello friends,

Happy Saturday.. As I promised, starting today, I will upload one kind of tag each day, until December 23.

These are the tags. Inspired by justmeprints.

I used Papertrey Ink die cut Neenah brown paper to make the tags. I love this die cut so much. Then I used a doily die cut out as a template to make dots. The dots represent the snow. I used a white pen from Uni Ball. They were easy to find in the local bookstore.

Then I cut a parchment paper to make Christmas leaves using a Spellbinder poinsettia die cut. 1 die cut out was for these 2 tags. Then I punched 6 dots on red paper, applied the Stickles: Candy Cane. Finally, I stamped Noel from Papertrey Ink.

Meanwhile, these are the pictures of Christmas celebration in my daughters' school: secondary and primary. What I enjoyed was making the potluck food. I think potluck is a better way to provide food in any parties. Yesterday, I made these rounds. This was how the committee arranged on the table.

I packed them in doughnut boxes (3 boxes = 16 rounds). See the white box on the picture. I just added a Christmas ribbon. They were all gone in minutes. One teacher said, it's quite big that made him feel full immediately, whereas he still wanted to taste other meals. Sorry...

That's why, today I made it again in a 8" x 8" aluminium foil. I made 2 squares and 2 rounds.

And this was how they were arranged on the table. Before the lunch ended, I found no more noodle schotel I made. Hehehe...

And the picture below: my daughter, P3 student, sang in a choir.

Well, hope everyone enjoyed the party, the food, the celebration, and even the togetherness in the event.

The Birthday Story - Green and Red Christmas Card

Hello friends,

It's Thursday.. Yesterday was my daughter's birthday. I came to my Mom's house. And the tradition continues. My Mom prepared a boiled egg, plus a pinch of salt and pepper. That's for the birthday girl. This tradition has happened since long time ago, since I was a little child.

We celebrated it together in Jakarta. We ate at Bottega Restoriante. It's an Italian restaurant. We were just four.

I chose to have Spaghetti Aglio Olio with pork. It was yummy...

Then, my Mom and my sister's family came over. This is Kezia and my Mom.

We all enjoyed the meals and drinks and the talks.. And before we went to the parking lot, we took pictures in front of the resto. This is a recommended resto. The service was also awesome.

Three generations...

And then, we visited my parents' in law's house. Luckily we could meet everyone there. It was so joyous. My father-in law was so happy that he asked to have a picture with my kids.

And, finally we took picture together. What else can I say about this moment? A rare moment..

After that, we went back to my mom's house, cleaned ourselves, and left the house to Grand Indonesia. I spent time with my kids. And this picture was taken before we left the mall. The decoration was awesome. There were many paper wind mills. The idea was simple but the result was great.

Then, the final destination was the railway station. Before my daughter left, she took this picture.

Bye bye, Kezia. See you next week... Take care of yourself.

By the way, this is the card I want to share with you. I used Spellbinders die cuts. MS birder punch and Hero Arts stamp.

Ok.. thanks for reading this post. See you again tomorrow...
