Frenchy Embossed Cards

Hello friends,

It's Tuesday. Tuesdays have been my favorite days. I've tried hard to schedule Tuesdays doing nothing but Praise and Worship with friends, then do the crafts.
However, today, I had to finish the revision of the school data. This is the thing I don't like most.

Anyway, I managed myself to make 60 embossed cards. This is a request from Alun-Alun Store in Galleries Lafayette in Jakarta. The store has almost run out of these embossed cards. I made the cards in blue, white and red. The colors of French, right? Take a look.

I embossed them in 10 different embossing folders. One of them is, of course, Fleur De Lys, the Lily Flower.  For French, it is a decorative symbol or design. You can read it here.

Tomorrow, I will make the envelopes. Luckily, I already have Envelope Punch Board. I bought it here. I hope this tool can make my work easier and quicker. This is the picture of the tool.

For more, I also have to make some kind of 'scrapbook' cards in French style. I have made 20 cards and they were sold out. Amazing! I never thought that there are some amazing people who abought my cards. This time is another 40 cards. Do I have time? Hehehe, let's see...

And if I have more time, I will upload those previous 20 French cards that I forgot to show in this blog.

Ok, friends. Until then.. Enjoy your day..

F.U.N - DT ATC

Hello friends,

It's Friday... It's time for ATC Challenge. The theme for this fortnight is: Beach Fun. I love this theme. We just had a school break on the beach, Bali, last July.

This is my ATC. The image: Summer Time Sandals from Meljen's Designs. The sandals are surrounded by sands. These are the real sands.. :D

I printed double the right sandal, so that I could mount it using foam double tape.

The theme reminds me of the moments where my children and their cousins spent on the beach. They really enjoyed playing with the sand. We specially brought the pail etc for this moment.

And of course, pose for the camera....

Don't you think that they did really have fun? Yes, indeed. They didn't want to go back home. Well, until next holiday, then, we can go to other beach..

So, never hesitate to join the challenge. Pop over the blog, see the creations of the DTs, and then take your papers, images, and play with us..

Have fun, my friends...

ATCs Album

Hi friends,

Meet again. Yes, it's Saturday and I have much time to make this album. I got so many ATCs last October 2012, in World Card Making Day. We did swap for ATCs. The participants were my friends in my Facebook account: Dwita's Crafty Crafts. After I got them, I just put them in a shoe box, then forgotten. Last week. I had few days off, so I had time to clean all the boxes from my old house. And I found this shoe box with all these beautiful ATCs inside.

Today, I managed myself to make the album for these ATCs. First I cut acetates and adhered each ATC with double tape. Why acetate? Because I want to  still be able to see the senders' name which were written at the back of each ATC. Then I punched one edge with the amazing Zutter. I made 2 albums using the rings. I put one card stock in front of the first album and at the back of the second album. These card stocks would be adhered to the inner parts of the cover.

I put aside three ATCs, including mine.  Mine is the one with Mini Balerina Tilda. The one with the yellow flower was from Evieta. I like the design. The one with Crown Tilda was from Rina. I like the sentiment. I want them to be in the cover of the album.

Then, I made the cover. It's quite easy as it is my favorite one to make a book cover. I used a gift paper wrap.

This is the result of the cover from inside. I already adhered the card stocks of each album to each inner part of the cover.

This is the look from above. You can see clearly there are 2 albums.

This is the look from below.

This is the look from the side.

Then I printed the logo of the Card making Day. Unfortunately the printer didn't work  good. The result was not satisfying. But that's okay.

So, here it is. The cover of the ATCs album.

And this is from the side of the book.

Now they are safe from the dirt and dust. And everyone just need to open the album to see those beautiful ATCs from wonderful friends of mine. I adore craft world!!

What do you think? Where did you put all the ATCs you got from swapping? Make this easy album, to let others see the beauty of ATCs. I really enjoyed making this album. Though it is so simple, and not as the scrapbookers make, but I like the result. Why don't you make one...

Have fun, my friends...

Happy Independence Day, INDONESIA

MERDEKA!!!

That's the slogan when we arrive on this day. August 17 is the most memorable day for Indonesian, as it is the day to celebrate the Independence Day. And today, it is the 68th celebration.

This is my creation for today.

And this is the closer look on the bottle embellishments.

Just Relax - DT ATC

Hi friends,

Meet again and it's Friday. Time to join the ATCs With Attitude Challenge. This time the theme is Just Relax. I used a digital stamp from QKR Stampede.

Sources: Best Friends digi stamp; Bo Bunny p.p.; Copic Sketches; Carla Scallop Oval punch

I printed the image twice. I cut the mat and adhered it with a foam tape. I cut the girls, colored them, and in monochromatic colors for their clothes with favorite Copic markers: BG11, BG13, R81, R85. Then I adhered it also with the foam tape. The sentiment 'just relax' was computer generated. This is the picture from the side.

I hope you can join the challenge, as the winner will get the digital stamps from Sassy Studio Designs and QKR Stampede.

Pop over to the blog challenge, take a look at the DTs creations, then, take your papers, and join the challenge. Have fun, my friends...

**btw, I remember that today is my friend's birthday. I don't meet him for quite long time. I really wish you a happy birthday, my friend, Steve Kessing.. Miss you so..

Heartfelt Thanks - Inspired By.

Hi friends,

I am back from school break vacation. We went to Bali, as you can read in my previous post. I will show the pictures of the vacation in the next post. But one thing I want to tell you, Bali is an amazing place to find handmade things. Two of them were this lovely bracelet and the embroidered white blouse. I love the color combo of the bracelet. I adore white blouses. So at that time, I forced myself to go back to the store to buy the blouse.

From these two things, I was inspired to make these creations.

This is the card below. The card stock is linen card stock. The white background is made by a die from Stampin Up! I forget the name. The blue leave is from PTI die cut. The white swirl is from Marianne die cut. As usual, I love attaching this kind of rose. A black rose is so protruding on this card.

And this is the box. It is from Sizzix die cut. The white die cut out is Amira from Lifetime. The  black leaves are from PB punch. The handle of the box is a Japanese mizuhiki cord.

Hope you enjoy my creations. This is also a challenge in my Facebook account. Click here, to join the challenge.

See you later..

Joie - Easel Box

Hello friends,

I am officially on holiday for a week. Right now I am in Bali. We are 14 persons!! My family and my in-laws'. We stay at Aston Nusa Dua for 2 nights and then to Sheraton Kuta for another 3 nights. The hotels are wonderful hotels, facing the ocean. Remarkable! How long have I visited a beach? Wow! It was in 2005, I guess, when we were still in Kalimantan. Absolutely a very relaxing holiday. Look at the picture of mine, in the hotel, facing the beach.. Ohlala... so nice view..

Anyway, I bring my laptop, just to stay in touch with everyone in the crafting world. The world that I adore soooo much.. And today is my BFF's birthday. She lives in Bali as she got married with our high-jump-athlete friend. She managed to make the itinerary for us to spend in 5-day holiday in Bali. So, I plan to give her this easel box.

This is from the side:

Inside, I stamped 100 pages with 4 stamps for every 25 pages. Take a look at the sentiments I stamped on them. I used MFT stamps.

Here are the flowers I made myself. Aren't they gorgeous?

And this is the sentiment I cut from the pattern paper. JOIE is a French word. She and I speak French ( a bit..)

And this is the box, closed.

Bon anniversaire, happy birthday, Cenil.. Stay healthy and fabulous, as you always do..

I am glad to be able to spend time with the whole family, a rare moment.

Happy holiday to you, too, summer or winter holiday.. ;D
