Day 44 - Happy Easter For You

Jesus is risen!!

Happy Easter, my friends...

So glad that I finally made myself to the end of 40 days of abstinence: not doing the favorite things. There were some things that I really adore to do. So during these 40 days, I tried hard not to be tempted with all those things. Thanks to Jesus for making it happen. ;D

And for today, this is my card to greet you all. My assistant and I colored the plastic eggs with acrylic paint. So adorable. Surely my students will love decorating them next Wednesday. This craft was supposed to be given to them before Easter, but due to the Easter celebration at school, so the craft class was cancelled. No problem. For the card itself, I chose this image. First I wanted to stamp Tilda Painting Egg. At the end I stamped this cute little girl holding a basket of eggs. I pieced the face (head), the dress, the hands and the basket. It means, I stamped it three times; twice on the white card stock and once on the pattern paper.

Suplies: MFT stamps, Carla egg punch, MS grass punch, Bassil card stock, Copic sketch markers, pattern papers

Take a look on the details below. First the closer look on the card itself.

Then, look at the image. I hope you can see the paper piecing I did.

And the sentiment was punched on the eggs punch outs.

Have a great celebration of Easter, friends. I myself will have it with the Sunday school activity where my second and third daughters will be on the role..

See you again..

Day 43 - Life Is What You make It - CFAS #24

Hi friends, I was MIA for two weeks. Oh... things came on and on. And time flies so fast. So many things happen during this two weeks. And today, I made this DT card for challenge #24 April Shower at Crafting For All Seasons. I used Jani's image. Lovely image, isn't it? I used her other image for the last challenge, too.
Supplies: Jani's digital image, Bassil card stock, Hero Arts background rubber stamp, MFT sentiment clear stamp, Scrap King lace, and some local half pearls.
These are the closer look: I did some paper piecing on the boots. The sponsors are: Bugaboo Digi Stamps, Jani's Kreativwelt Digital Stamps and The Stamping Boutique. Don't hesitate to join the challenge. It's worth to try on digital stamp, if you've never done it. Really. You can resize the image, and even you can just print and color the image using your own markers, or color the image using your computer ability and print it. Easy, right? The other advantage is, you don't need visual storage for this kind of stamps. Ok, see you again...later today or tomorrow. I still stick to my commitment to make a card a day..starting again today.. ;D..

Day 42 - You Make Me Smile - CFAS Challenge #23

Hello friends,
Been away almost a week. Oh, so busy with all the craft workshop in Jakarta and Aceh. Amazing trips. I just returned from amazing Aceh, the province which was swept away by a tsunami 7 years ago.
And for the fortnight challenge in Crafting For All Seasons : Catherine's Sketch. Just follow the sketch and join the challenge.
This is my take on the sketch.
And these are the detail and the inside.
Thanks for viewing my work. Hope I will be back tomorrow with all energy for crafting.

Day 41 - Hello, friend

Hello friends,

Oh..oh.., how come I almost forgot this March CCC? I have to submit my card and later will exchange it with someone outside my country. There's still time to send the image.. wait for me, Deb... Thanks, anyway..

I used the Color Pallete below. The sage is like the color of the duck egg in my country. The goldenrod is like the color of the ginger. Lovely combo.

This is my take:

Supplies: MFT flower die, MD swirl die, MS grass punch & border, Hero Arts sentiment stamp

Hope the recipient will enjoy my card and other things I will enclose.. ;D

Day 40 - Wishing A Lovely Day

Hi friends,

Have a good start of the week...

having a very clear mind (LOL..), today I stayed all day long in my craft gallery. I checked all the orders, packed them, and sent them. Then I checked some emails sending me the image of cards my friends made to join the monthly challenge I am handling right now. Well, fabulous creations!

My mind is actually flying away to my future house. It's time to complete the furniture. There are some guys finishing the armoir, the stairs, which are all made of wood. So lovely. Can't wait to stay in there.

And today, I got another assignment to teach in Aceh next week. Wow! I finally will enjoy Aceh. That's the province which was swayed by tsunami on December 2004. I want to see my sister's ex-house there, too. And I also got assignment to teach in Jakarta this Friday morning. Well, this it my first time teaching in Jakarta. Hope everything goes well in those two places.

I managed to make this card today. This is the technique I love most: inking the stamp, spraying it and stamping on a white card stock. Lovely..

Supplies: Hero Arts stamp flower, PTI fence dies and sentiment stamp.

This is the detail on the fence.. Love them..

I do hope you have a wonderful start of the week as I do.. Ciao..

Day 39 - Find Joy In Simple Things

Hi friends,

Happy Saturday!! It's music day for me. Love all the gospels I'm learning to play today. So simple. Then my daughter, my assistant and I joined the 1st b'day party of a daughter of my friend. The party is quite simple, but it was organized very well. There was a craft corner, where my assistant taught how to make a door hanger. The cake was so pretty but it was fake. Hehehe, can't believe if it's true. Who wants to eat such cholesterolly cake? LOL... Look at my DD with that cake:

Then, coming again to my craft room with my DD and made the little Cutie Sockie. So pretty with the purple skirt..

And finally, this is my card for today. I was inspired by Maille's.

Supplies: Hero Arts Clings, PTI butterfly dies, Distress ink pads

Hope you also enjoy the simple things in life that make you smile and happy... Happy weekend, everyone.

Day 38 - Voila!

Hi friends,

It's Friday again.. Time flies sooo fast. And I made this card so fast as well. This card is also using the Bugaboo image that I used for the CFAS challenge the other day. And the colors are green and yellow, too. I want to show my facebook friends, the sample of the card for my own challenge this month in my facebook account. The theme is double: shaped card with green and yellow on it. Hahaha... Imitating CFAS? Well, a bit. This is also to encourage them to join the CFAS challenge.

This is my card:

Supplies: Bugaboo digi stamp, Hero Arts sentiment stamp, Multi Purpose Ink, Copic Sketch markers

Thanks for stopping by.. Have a start of the weekend, friends.

Day 37 - Born To Shop - CFAS Challenge

Hi friends,
Yesterday was a very busy day, indeed. Non-stop activities since the morning 'till almost midnight... Ohlala.., I forgot to post this challenge. So sorry. This is my DT card for this fortnight challenge at Crafting For All Seasons. It's color theme : green and yellow. The sponsors are: Bugaboo and Tickled Pink Stamps .
Supplies: Bugaboo digital stamp Heels - Big Bow, Spellbinder dies, MS border punch, Grace Taylor sentiment "born to shop", Hero Arts sentiment "Have a fantastic day", Bassil card stock, Multi Purpose Ink, Copic Sketch markers
These are the closer looks on the shoes stamp and the inside of the card.
And for the story: I was the committee to handle the farewell-welcome small party. And, surprise to everybody, I played the violin (which failed on the attack in the beginning of the song.. hehehe since I'm "still kid" in violin, anyway).
Ok, that's the story about yesterday. Hope today I can manage myself to make another creations..
Thanks for viewing my pics. Enjoy your day, friends.

Day 36 - 5th Anniversary

Hi friends..

Wow! It's the first Monday of March. I still can remember the first Monday, 5 years ago. It was my debut, broadcasting LIVE in the radio. The program is English Corner, learning English together and the listeners can ask questions LIVE. Well..well, 5 years have gone by. So i made this layout today. These are the pictures of people I've interviewed.

Supplies: Hero Arts Happy & Friends clings, Distress Inks, PTI dies, Spellbinder dies, SU tag punch, The Twinery

These are the details:

1. The first interview with the most loyal listener, Mrs. Srie. She started joining the English Corner when she was 66 years old. She wants to learn more and more. She keeps joining the program almost every Monday evening. Thanks, Bu Srie..

2. This is Monika from Munchen, when she visited me. So I asked her to talk about spending time of Idul Fitri abroad. Love you, Nika..

3. This is Mrs. Irene Siregar, a.k.a. my dear Mom.. LOL. She's been an English teacher for more than 30 years. At the age of 73, she's still teaching at the university. When she had a vacation in my town, I asked her to share the knowledge of English. Always adore you, Mom...

4. This is with Hany and Bill. They spent several days in Cirebon. Voila! A real American who talked in American accent. That's great having them with me in the studio.. Thanks, pals...

5. This is the greatest moment, to interview Christian Bautista, the famous singer from Philippines. So many friends envied me for this picture. Good job, Chris..

Many thanks to Radio Suara Gratia for the chance to share the knowledge. I am always happy to work with you all.

And most of all, the quote we always say at the end of program is: Practice makes perfect. And I found this is the best quote for today:

Thanks for reading and viewing all the details, my friends...

Happy anniversary, English Corner.

Happy anniversary for brodcasting for 5 years in the radio.

God bless you all...

Day 35 - Congratulations

Hi friends,

Saturday is the busiest day for me. After music classes today, I went home for lunch. And...the DVD of my DD occupied me.. Hehehe... good film, though. Then I rushed to the craft gallery, to meet my friend, Christina, who will have a birthday party for her only DD next week. We discussed several things for the craft corner she will be holding during the party. Great, huh?

In the middle of conversation, I managed to make this card for my fellow broadcaster who got married this morning and I will attend the wedding party tonight. Woohoo.

Supplies: Digi stamp, Hero Arts sentiment stamp, All Purpose Ink Champagne Mist, some pink pearls, some Copic markers (which didn't blend on this photo paper)

The closer look. See that I applied the all purpose ink on several parts.

Ok, friends, now I have to rush home to do some make up for the party. Tatagh...

Day 34 - You Make Me Happy

Bonjour mes amies,

It's Friday, and it always makes me smile... And I think most workers in the world LOVE to meet Friday. Yes, 'cause it's weekend.. I spent all my Friday in the craft room. Cleaning, mopping, giving labels on those distress inks, returning magazines, books and tools to their places, and putting the scraps in the box all. And at the end I found this felt flower. I want to make a card with this. I opened my drawer to find the suitable stamp for this (..& also according to my mood.. ;D), and my eyes caught this Hero Arts cling. I inked with autumn colors. Hehehe, autumn has been so far away behind, but still love the colors.

This is my card.

Supplies: Hero Arts stamps for the wreath and the sentiment, PTI dies for the 'happy', MFT rolled flower dies

The closer look on the flower and "happy" word.

I love PTI dies. They are so adorable. Have so many of them and I inserted them, one by one, in the folder. Actually the folder is for the DVDs, but I transformed it into the effective storage for my dies. I also do this for other dies. One brand has one folder. That saves time to find each of them. You can see the picture below.

How about that? Practical? For me, yes... Have a try, friends..

Ok, then. See you again tomorrow..

Day 33 - Love You

Hi friends,

Good to meet you again in my post today. It's a lovely Thursday, isn't it? I wore a dress, not particularly going a special place. I just wanted to wear it. Well, being well-dressed seems to have a heart in everybody's eyes.. i got the service so quickly in the office of the cellular phone, in the bank, and even in the small and crowded button store. Wowow... Don't they know the quotes: "Don't judge the book by its cover" and "Appearance can be deceiving" ? Hahaha... Well..well..

I checked everything in the scrap box. That's a box where some imperfect die cuts lay down.. So many. So, I put them accordingly in each plastic bag. It is easier to find the scraps this way than find them scatteredly... I want to show the small doily from PTI. It's so pretty.

This is the tag I made today..

Supplies: PTI doily and 'you' dies & sentiment 'love' stamp, MFT flower die, Paper Shapper Flower punch

And this is the detail, where you can view closely all elements I put on the tag.

I love making tags. I have many different tag dies. Love them all.

Thanks for viewing my work.. Happy commenting..
