ODOP - Day 17 - A rustic card and match box

Hi friends,

What is rustic? What is vintage? What is shabby? Pheww...  Today's theme is rustic. As a matter of fact, I understand rustic belongs to a village. Well, I don't know. Then my friend mentioned, it has a connection with kraft color. Ok..

Here is my take. You tell me, is it rustic or vintage?

 

I used Cuttlebug embossing folder for the nuance of rustic. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, stamped and white embossed. I used a Stampin Up! punch. The flower is made of corn flower. It's an Indonesian craft.

 The match box was made from a die cut from Lifestyle Craft. It was also embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder.

ODOP - Day 16 - Black and White Pansies

I'm back again, friends.

This was yesterday's project. The theme is Black and White. I made a card in those color combo.

Here is my card:

 I used Bo Bunny pattern paper. The flowers were from a stamp set of Stampin Up called Flowers Shop. It was stamped and then punched. Adorable, right?
The white leaves are from Marianne die cut. I gave a little grey ink on the edges.
The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink, and the film is a punch from Stampin Up!. The last, I added a pinch of frantage. Then I adhered it to a black card stock. If you have it on your hand, the black card stock was a dotted embossed card stock.

ODOP - Day 15 - ATC

Hello friends,

This is a late post of the 'one day one project'. This was for Sunday project. I didn't have time to make it earlier. It was a gladness and sadness day. One friend got married. I was so glad for that. On the other hand, a father of my student passed away. So sad for him.

The theme is ATC. If I make 15 similar ATCs, then send to Silvy, I will get 16 ATCs from her and 15 other friends. I will.. I will send 15 ATC... Cool...

Here is my simple ATC:
 

I used a stamp set from StampinUp! I adore the cages and the birds. Look at the long-legged bird. It's so funny. The ink pads were from Versafine. I love how the color turned out. I think I need to have more collection of Versafine. Lol...
The sentiment, of course, from My Favorite Things. It is from a stamp set about Art. I got it freely when I purchased die cut and stamps from its website two years ago. It's awesome, right?
Yeah.. I love doing the art and craft at home. When I am doing it, I totally forget anything else, including my students and the school things. Sorry.. lol...

ODOP - Day 14 - Two Yellow Cards

Yellow...yellow... and yellow... Here are my take. Two cards for today.

 

Let me explain each card.

I used my newest die cut from Lawn Fawn, the stitch. I used it on the pattern paper from Kaiser Craft and also on the white card stock. I stamped the newest stamp from Altenew. Unfortunately, I don't have the yellow gradation ink pads. So I used Memento and Art Graphic brush pens. The leaves are stamps from Papertrey Ink. And the sentiment is from Hero Arts, stamped with Faded Jeans DI.

Now the second card: I used a flower stamp from Hero Arts. It's an old stamp. But it was quite famous in its time in the past. I love this flower stamp as I used it quite often long time ago. I colored the stamp with Memento and Art Graphic brush markers, then sprayed it and stamped. I poured some frantage on the left below part.

 

The sentiment stamp is from My Favorite Things. It was a free stamp set when I bought some other die cuts in its website. I love this set, because each sentiment tells me about art. And this one is so true, right?

 

This owl stamp is from StampinUp! It comes in a set. This is the first time I used this stamp. And the yellow flower hear the owl is from Hero Arts, not the same set as the big flower.

ODOP - Day 13 - Shabby Chic Card

Hello again, friends,

Today I made this shabby chic card. I adore the shabby chic colors, but I make it very seldom. To make this card, I must think very hard, the color combination and all the embellishment.

Here is my take:

 

I adore this kind of green. The pattern paper is from Primrose Collection of Bo Bunny pad. The oval die cut is from My Favorite Things. The tag die cut is from Magnolia

 

The look from above, so you can see the dimension.

 

And this is the look from the side. So you can see those three butterflies....

   

The French writing stamp is from Hero Arts. I used DI Burlap to stamp on some corners. This made the  chevron green and white not so empty.

 

Look at the flower arrangement closely. The paper leaves were die cut fro Memory Box. I adore the white daisy so much. This kind of flower can go with any flowers. The green burlap ribbon is the one I love, too.

 

This time, I didn't use sentiment stamp. I just cut from a pattern paper which was designed by Brandin O'Neil called Growing Girl, from Webster's Pages. Lovely sayings on the page. It was hard to choose, and finally I chose this saying. 

I love this saying. Nothing is impossible... Just believe...

ODOP - Day 12 - Princesses and a Castle

Hello friends,

How did you enjoy Princesses when you were kids? Which princess movie you watched when you were a little girl?
Me? That's Cinderella. My father had a Cinderella movie. Almost every Saturday late afternoon, around 4-5 p.m., he showed the movie to us, his 5 children. He used a reel film, that he needed to scroll back if we wanted to repeat watching it. The screen was the wall in his bedroom. It was a fantastic childhood I always treasure.

And today, this morning, I remember that my friend Jovita ever gave me a castle die cut from Quick Cutz. And I ever bought princesses die cuts from Cuttlebug at the lowest price, US$1 each. Amazing, right? You never knew, the stuffs you have kept for long time has to finally come up to be used. Lol....
The pattern papers are from Echo Park. Sentiment stamps are from a stamp set My Favorite Things. The word "Ariel" and "princess" are alphabet set stamp from G Studio.

Here are my take:

Princess Cinderella

What do you think? Hahahaha... They are just cards for kids.... I bet, my little daughter will love these cards. She can give each card to her friend who has a birthday. They will love it.

Princess love stories will never die.... Be a princess: be strong and kind..

ODOP - Day 11 - Get Some Ice Cream...

Hi friends,

Well, it's already a late afternoon that I could make this card. The theme is: to support a girl who is gloomy.

Here is my take:

The background paper is from Ledger Pad of Prima. The chevron red and cream frame is from Crate Paper. The alphabet stamp sets are from G Studio.

"Kalau galau" is Bahasa Indonesia. In English: "When you're gloomy" or not in a good mood..

This little cute girl is from a  Make Mine A Double from My Favorite Things. I have so many stamp sets of her. She's too cute. I adore her. I think I will "use" her more often. I colored her with Copic.

Hope you are not "galau". Just be happy in every single thing you do. If things don't work just the way you want, just accept it. Just remember this Serenity Prayer, that I always keep in mind:

ODOP 10 - A Grateful Card

Hi friends,

The theme for today is using one of these: pattern paper, embellishments, no images, less die cut.
I chose to use the scrap pattern papers. The card becomes very simple...

Here is the result:

I used papers from the pad of For The Record 2 by Lori Whitlock from Echo Park.

The sentiment stamp is from Heidi Swapp. The half black pearls are from Simon Says Stamp. It was a free gift when I bought several stamps and die cuts with its brand. So simple card, but I like it.

And the bird, it's really from the scrap. The same pattern papers with the ones I used on the card. The bird is from Sizzix die cut. The thanks is from Simon Says Stamp, too. It's so cute....It can be used as the table decoration. I had a little time to make one more creation so I made this bird. And moreover, the leftover papers should be immediately used. Or, they will stay forever in its pad..

ODOP - Day 9 - A White and Turquoise Card with Handwriting

Hello friends,

Today I made a very simple card. I just cut a bicycle and a rectangle. The challenge is to use my own handwriting. Woohoooo... It looks like making a signature. You know why? Because, when I wrote the "happy birthday", it should be once and I can't stop in the middle. And.. it took only ONE breath. Lol...

Here is my take.

 

I used Copic to write on the white Multicolor card stock. I LOOOOVEEE the color.. lol.. 

The bicycle is from Memory Box.

And this is from above. You can see the gap between the turquoise card stock and the white rectangle.

ODOP Day 8 - Checkered Mini Suitcases

Hi friends,

As I promised you yesterday, today I won't make cards with the checkered motif. I made suitcases. I really longed for making them. The first time I made the suitcase is here. And this was the second time. And this was the third one.

Today I made 3!! Lol.... I was very happy I had time to make them. Here they are:

 The purple suitcase is covered with the purple pattern paper of Secret Garden from Graphic 45. 

This is the look from above. So you can see the how the handles were attached to the suitcases.

 

The sentiment die cut is from Cuttlebug. I really adore sentiment die cut. I promise you I'll use them more and more. The paper flowers are the ones I bought from my online friends. Again.... I'm still not in the mood to color images. Please, help me... (lol)

Btw, those suitcases will be for sale in ITC Surabaya starting May 10. Be there..
