Day 25 - The last day of ODOP Christmas - Frosty

Hi friends,

The ODOP - One Day One Project - has come to an end. Today is the last day. Wow!! I cannot imagine that I have to stop creating something for Christmas. I love Christmas. This 25-day time to create didn't make me bored. Not a single second. I always got the ideas. Where did I get them? From Pinterest, Google, other blogs, and even from the creation and techniques my friends did.

Today's theme is snowman. Due to the fact that I only have one snowman stamp, and I don't want to use it, I drew it on a white card stock. First with a pencil. Then I drew it with the Copic Multiliner.

I saw the design in the Pinterest, but I forgot the link. I tried to find it, but I couldn't. Perhaps, I'll try later to find the link. The hearts and the carrot nose were colored with Copic. Then I added a braided scarf using twinery. The letters f.r.s.t.y were from Stampin Up die cut. I randomly cut a piece of white card stock, then highlighted it with a light blue Memento ink pad. To the parts of the letters, too.

Here it is....

Do you like this card?

Day 24 - ODOP Christmas - Let It Snow in Blue

Hello friends,

Happy Saturday...

Yes, I will be busy again today with the Matsuri. I am supposed to give a craft workshop at 10. So I made this card this morning. The image had been colored last month. So it's time to show her in the display.

This is from the front.

The closer look on the image. I colored it with Copic. The blue was not so strong. Just a soft one. I also love this Tilda holding the wreath of the poinsettia leaves.

Have a good day, my friends...

Day 23 - ODOP Christmas - Cirebon-Japan Matsuri and Add a poinsettia

Hello friends,

It's a busy day. I joined the Cirebon-Japan Matsuri in one campus. I like the ambiance, though it was a quiet bazaar. These are my pictures.

Early before 8 a.m. my assistants and I were getting ready for the booth and display.

Well, rather than waiting for nothing, so I joined the Shuji class. I love it. I enjoyed it so much.

After lunch time, I was asked to give a presentation about making something. So I taught on how to make a bookmarker. Mine was big enough for the audience to see.

And just now, I just managed my time to make this card. I love the color combo. The maroon is so adorable. The poinsettia was white. Cool...

Take a closer look on the color combo. I love it. Do you like maroon?

Ok, until tomorrow.. :D

Day 22 - ODOP Christmas - We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Hai friends,

The day has almost come to an end. And I just managed myself to make this card with the glitter embossing powder. Nothing special, as I made it with a very sad heart and thought. Yeah.. what happened yesterday continued today.

Anyway, this is my take for the one day one project: glamorous. I used a stamp set from Stampin Up. The sentiment was from Papertrey Ink. Just simply heat embossed the Christmas ornaments. And added 1 bling-bling on each of them. That's all.

Anyway, I remembered this picture. It's #tbt #throwbackthursday. Can you guess which one is me?

And after class, one of my student gave me a parcel. Just take a look what she gave me. Everything in green tea! Sooo yummy.

Take a closer look. Look at the card. It's a simple one. I love it. She has a genuine heart. She is one of the best students of mine (inside & outside). She never pretends about everything. So honest. That's what I like from her. Thanks, sweetie..

That's all for today. I'm still in BITERHAMEN = bibir tersenyum hati menjerit. Hahaha.

Happy Thanksgiving. Thanks for giving me bitter...

Day 21 - ODOP Christmas - Tags

Dear my friends,

Little things happened today. My feeling is upside down. Sometimes I don't understand what people think about me. On the other hand, I really don't care, but this time, what they did really touched my heart in negative sense. Perhaps I need to have a bigger heart to take anything I encounter. Yeah, a bigger heart.. :D

Anyway, this is my take on the theme today for one day one project: a country. I chose France. I made these tags according to the colors of its flag. Blue, white and red.

Sizzix Tag and Snow die cuts and Eiffel embossing folder; Shimmer twines of The Twinery; Papertrey Ink sentiment stamp; Carla Circle punch plus frantage from Stampendous

The truth is: I feel so comfortable in my craft room, making this and tht, arranging this and that, matching this and that. Perhaps I'm a kind of person who can't work in a team. Perhaps I'm a kind of person who enjoys working alone. Perhaps... ahhh.. I'm sure I need a much much bigger heart. I'll try. Though my response to them was positive, to me, I still felt the awkwardness toward their deed.

Well..well..well.. I need to be back to the commitment I made last August: not to be everywhere. Yes... Just stay focus on my "field". Ok..ok.. I will do that...

For sure, today, I suddenly wanted to fly to Tours, a city in France, where I could meet my homestay family there and have a chat with them. I really miss them.... I miss everything I did there:
1. walking along the streets and the river banks
2. being in the classroom with the funky teachers
3. eating baguette with those French vegetables
4. chatting with the family and extended family
5. visiting other friends' family
6. going to craft stores
7. traveling from one castle to another castle, even traveling by train from Paris to Amsterdam to Brussel to Strassbourg..
8. etc.

I miss everything about France.

Day 20 - ODOP Christmas - Joyeux Noel

Hello friends,

Meet again.. Today's theme is Black and White. I simply used a die cut from Memory Box. If you take a look closer, you'll see that I cut the die cut twice. First on a white paper, the second on a dotted black paper. I adhered the white one on the black and slightly move to the right. Hope it makes sense. :D

I added the poinsettia to make it a little bit livelier. Do you like black and white nuance for Christmas?

Day 19 - ODOP Christmas - A Christmas Thanks

Hello friends,

It was a great weekend I had. I joined the Bonenkai Festival. My booth served craft workshops for kids as well as sold some Japanese crafts. Here is the picture:

Meanwhile, today's theme for ODOP is bow. I used this WRMK Envelope Punch Board to make these candy wrappers. I tied bows on each of them. The labels were from Stampin Up. I punched 3 times for each label. The sentiment was from Papertrey Ink. The pattern papers were 12x12 from Webster's.

It's just as easy as 123.

Day 18 - ODOP Christmas - Oh Snap

Hi friends,

I uploaded it as early as possible. Because I would be very busy the whole day. As I mentioned yesterday, I would join a Japanese Bazaar.

The theme for today is food. I chose cookies.

The couple of ginger bread was from Lawn Fawn stamp and die cut. Cute, right? The ban was from MFT. The embossing folder was from Cuttlebug.

Yeah.. it's an ATC. You can see that I stamped many. It's for the ATC swap with friends in the crafter group. Hope they like it.  For the swap, I won't use the die cut, but I directly colored the ginger bread. And I will do something like Jennifer McGuire did here. I will do that way for the 25 ATCs. I will upload the result later.

For this one, you can see that the ginger bread was colored die cut. Love it.

Day 17 - ODOP Christmas - Deck The Halls

Hello friends,

Actually, I'm still mourning. Yesterday evening, the person who was close to our family passed away. So sudden. She was the massageur. But above all, she helped my family for 9 years. When I had no servant, she came and cooked, cleaned, washed the clothes, ironed, even bathed my baby. She did so many things to help me. I also supported her family in many ways. I am so sad she passed away. This morning, I went to her house. Unfortunately, I couldn't see her, as her corpse was brought to a small mosque. Not long after that, they arrived in front of the house, then went to the funeral. I attended it 'till it was over, then showered the grave with flowers. Here is the picture of me and my friend.

I live in a village, not in a fancy housing complex. As you can see, the background of the picture is banana trees. :D Yeah, it is always like that. Look at the veil I am wearing. That's the only black veil I have. I always use it to the funeral.  Well, she'll rest in peace.... May God bless the family.

And I just managed to make this card. The theme is White Christmas. What's that? Is everything in white? Don't know. Never experienced it. Hehehe.. I presumed White Christmas is when everything is covered with snow. So here it is, a simple scene. I used 3 die cuts, from Memory Box and Magnolia. The wall embossing folder was from Sizzix. And the sentiment was from Papertrey Ink. The curtains were hand-cut and pleated. The inside was also white. Just consider that White Christmas is white outside and inside the house.

What do you think of White Christmas? I remember the song, sung by my favorite actor, Robert Downey Jr. Here is the link to it. You'll love his voice.. I adore him sooo much.. The song accompanied me while making this card. And it gave me a better feeling. Thanks, Robert..

I'm going to prepare myself for the bazaar tomorrow. It's a Japanese Christmas.

Hope everything is sold out.. See you...

Day 16 - ODOP Christmas - Christmas Blessings - ATC

Dear my friends,

Have a great Thursday.

This morning, I finished making 2 ATCs completely. Another 15 still need the bells to attach. I'll cut them later. These are for today's theme: Christmas ATC.
Everything was from Papertrey Ink stamp and die cut. I love this stamp and die set. The ink pads were from Versa Color. Except for the music background, it was from Hero Arts, stamped with Old Paper Distress Ink.

To make these 17 eh..18 ATCs, I used MISTI. This was a repeating action, so this tool was soooo useful. It made my work easier, less time consuming.

I love how they turned out. Just exactly as I wanted to make. :D

Day 15 - ODOP Christmas - Welcome Christmas

Hello friends,

Yesterday I was so exhausted, that I didn't do blogging. I made some cards, but I didn't upload them here. Tonight I made this simple card. The theme is dominantly leaves. I used Papertrey Ink stamp set. The green ink was from Memento bamboo. The sentiment was from Stampin Up.

And today is the birthday of my DH. He lives far away from me and the kids. So I just telephoned him. He got a surprise from his office fellows. In the middle of his subordinate's presentation, the slide  was shown: Happy Birthday, Mr. Charles. Then all of them sang the birthday song. He got  a cute parcel of fruits and flowers. He was so amused with this celebration.

Below: it's us spending a weekend, just the two of us, last year, in Mount Bromo. A fantastic place for taking pictures.

Below: that's our last picture last month, when he tried a new t-shirt. Hehehe...
So, happy birthday, darling.. We all wish you were here. Or, I really wish I were there, in Poleng Living Quarter.

Ok, friends, that's all for today. See you tomorrow.

Day 13 - ODOP Christmas - Let It Snow

Hi friends,

It's Monday. Have a good start of the week.

Today's theme is anything goes. I chose this image. Colored with Copic. The card style is still the same as before.

Just a simple one. I'm quite sleepy today. See you.

Day 12 - ODOP Christmas - Music Background

Hi friends,

I'm feeling much much better. The bones are okay now. I can start the work again in my craft room.

Today's theme is music background. Here is what I came up with.

I love this Tilda with violin. I play violin, too. :D I colored it with Copic markers. The background was pattern paper from MME. The die ccut of the poinsettia and merry christmas were from Lawn Fawn. I added some frantage as well.

Ok, until then. I need to finish rearranging my craft room. Ciao....

For my card, I used stamps from Hero Arts and Penny Black. I always love flower stamps. The sentiment was from Stampin Up stamp set. So versatile stamp set.

Share your kindness... #sharehandmadekindness in Jennifer McGuire, 2nd week.

I made several of this, and will send them to several people who work in the sewing community, who need a real help for their children's school tuition.
