Love Is In The Air

Hello friends,

February is quite well-known as the month of pink, red, and love. I love making cards this month, because I can use the heart die cut and the love sentiment stamps that stay quite long in the drawer. ;))

My card base is red, then I added the white cardstock which was embossed, then I adhered the heart die cut from Impression Obsession (Floral Lace Heart). I stamped a round sentiment: Love is in the air Ferbuary 14 from MFT. I die cut love which was actually from lovely die cut of Heidi Swapp. Then finally I added several red hearts that I cut from a background die cut.

Here is the closer look on the sentiment stamp:

I enter this card to join the challenges: Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, DRU Challenge #162, and Incy Wincy Designs Challenge Mainly Red.

Hope you enjoy my card.

Love,
Dwita.

Thinking Of You

Hay, happy Tuesday..

While waiting for my hubby this late afternoon, I made this card. I saw a card with this design in Paper Crafts Magazine and thought of making one. I used the butterfly stamps which had laid in the drawer for long long long time. This was the first time for me to use them. The background cling stamp is new. I love this one. So versatile.

Hello Flowers

Hi friends,

This morning, I woke up with the idea of making this card. Masking it. I stamped the ivy leaves first, covered it with the cut ivy leaves, then I stamped the dotty background. I adhered my newest flower stamps and the newest sentiment stamp.
I am addicted to stickles now, so I gave it on the edges of the flowers and on some dots on the card. All stamps are from Hero Arts.

For inside the card, I also did some masking with the same stamps. Added also the stickles.
Hope you enjoy what you see here, friends.

Challenges:

Simon Says Stamps and Show : Some Masking

Incy Wincy Design 76: Go Dotty

Cupcake Craft Challenges 124: Something New (new flower and sentiment stamps)

Sending You Hugs & Kisses - On White

Hi friends,

This late afternoon, I managed to make another card. Again, it is on white..
I used the sketch from Simon Says Challenge this week. The beautiful image is from DDSB with the challenge: Anything Goes. Check the blog and you'll find so many beautiful images in DDSB store, especially for this challenge, there are three freebies you can download. And th
e theme of all white except the image is from Incy Wincy Designs challenge this week.

Here is the card.

And this is the closer look on the image. I did some paper piecing on the curtain.I really love this image. Though I've never seen snow, I think it's beautiful to watch the snowflakes fall through the window. Or is it too cold, eh..?

Thanks for looking, friends...

Get Well Soon Card - 3 challenges

Hello everyone,

At the end of this afternoon, I managed to make one card for the challenges. Well, before that, I made a tutorial in my Multiply account. The tutorial was about making handmade flowers on the cards. You can check here.

The first challenge for this card is from DDSB Challenge 16: use scraps. I love the olive green cardstock. So, I kept whatever leftover of it. I wanted to cut with Label 8, but it was not enough. C'est pas grave, je pense... LOL.. The small 4 white papers were inserted between the white and the olive green cardstocks. The butterfly was punched from the leftover from the white card I made the other day. I used the digital stamp from their store: Vintage Bonnet. (I bought it via my friend since I don't have any CC..)

The second challenge is for Card Positioning System 175 with the sketch. So, here is my take on the sketch.

The closer look on the image:

The third challenge is for Incy Wincy Design Challenge 50 : Distress It. I distressed the edges of white and olive green cardstocks. I applied Distress ink on the white one. The edges of the green was given ivory ink.

I used Copic markers to color the digi stamp. I was trying to color using the technique given in Colormecopic blog. Well, not good in photographing..LOL...

That's for today. Hope to meet you again.

Thanks for looking.. and happy weekend..
