White on white Moose

Hi friends,

I've been that busy with my kids, starting school again. I just managed to make one card today. This sketch is from Paper Cupcake TMITA. I made white all over to make the image protruding. I even didn't add any sentiments. I actually thought that this moose is in Autumn and is trying the new scarf and thinking whether the scarf color is okay for the coming winter. The grass is in between of green and yellow-orange. (the moose isn't on fire..eh..?)

It's Monday afternoon here. Oh.. I feel more than ages that I haven't connected to the internet for the past 4 days. It's an Eid Mubarak holiday, so the kids are at home, and I prefer to be with them rather than be in my gallery. That's why I haven't posted anything until today. I even missed the announcement from Hero Arts, telling us that my friend's work, Ayu's, was on HA blog. Congrats, Ayu...

This is my card for Simplicity challenge: B&W with a Spot of Color. Talking about B&W, I remember my youth, with photography as a hobby, hunting for funny or beautiful moments to catch, then processed the negative into B&W photos. Fabulous time..

This is my card.
The sakura branch clear stamp is from "Asian by Design", Inkadinkado. The sentiment clear stamp is from "Doodle Wings", Stampendous. Sakura shape used Carl punch.

Good morning, everyone..

It's Wednesday morning, here. Kids are not going to school due to the Idul Fitri (Moslems) holiday. They are free for a week. I managed to make these Aster flowers yesterday, and just finished this card. I feel good that I've come back to my collection of punches. So many flowers I can make, and I just realized it. I'll upload the tutorial in the Multiply account later on. The account is here. You'll find the tutorial of Peony and Cosmos, as well.

I used the sketch from CPS 183. I added some sun shapes to make it a li'l brighter.

Cosmos 3-D flower

Hi friends,

Do you still remember that I dug again and again all my punches and craft books? Yesterday I made the Peony. Today, I made this Cosmos. The punches used are actually the basic punches that most crafters have. I bet you also have punches of Heart, Sun, Cosmos, Leaf. They are from Carl Punch and Punch Bunch. It took me not too long to make this one. It's quite easier than Peony.

I put the flower on the card based on the sketch given for Mojo Monday 155. It's a contest. This is my flower on this sketch.

Peony 3-D Flower

Hi friends,

Meet again. Last week, I dug my drawers to see my collection of punches. There are more than 200 punches, small and big. They were and still are adorable collection. Then I came to the collection of craft books. They are also more than 300 books, thin and thick, hard cover and soft cover. I finally found the books that I bought 2 years ago in Ebay. Lovely books about using punches to make 3-D flowers.

Then today, I tried to make one, ane here is the result.


I used Carl punches : CP2 Apple for the petals. CP2 and CP1 Sun for the stamens. I used PB Dusty Miller for the leaves. So, what do you think? An apple punch can create a peony? So lovely. I shall try to make another flowers like Dogwood, Daffodil, and Iris. Two years ago, I managed to make an orchid. I'll show you the result later. Wow.. I feel good to come back to my collection of punches.

Cook Up A Card - September Recipe

Hi friends,

Wowowow... it's September now.... Time flies sooooooo fast. Don't you think so? In my country, the months ending with "ber" indicating the months of raining. So, be ready for much rain starting this September. I remember the song:

Rain, rain, go away
Come again another day
Little Kezia wants to play
Rain, rain, go away

The first time I found this song, I immediately changed the name into my first Dd's name. So, since that time, every time the rain comes, we oftern sing that song. My Dd even taught that song to her younger sisters later on. Raining also makes some leaves fall.

It's late Thursday here... The weather is fine. And I just remember to make this card. Digging in the stamp drawers had made me find this tree set stamp and the bamboo stamp. The theme this week in OLW Simplicity is Trees... So here are my takes.

I added halves of punch out and embossed the lower part of the card. A li'l bit enjoying these color combo...

Love Conquers All

Back again on the craft table this morning and managed to make a card. Just a simple one. The sketch is from IC Sketches 81 and the image was a freebie from Paper Cupcakes TMITA. This time Nina needs to see the PPC image and the card without bought pattern papers.. Making cards without pp is not that easy. It's really a challenge. Love these two cats. I also used my old brand new puzzle punches. I bought them around 6 years ago and I just used it for this card.. LOL... I think I have to dig again all the punches that I have and hope to find 'this is it' more and more...


The sentiment is from Create With TLC. Almost day by day, Paulette gives freebies.. Check her blog. I really love this sentiment, as it is stated clearly in the Bible. I do agree with what it says. Do you agree?

CCC August 2010

Hi friends,

It's so much fun to recieve a mail from overseas. It's a wonderful time to open the envelope and found fabulous card. I got it from Rikke Poulsen, from Denmark. CCC by Deborah Nolan is a wonderful place to meet each other around the world. That's also one way to promote my country to others who heard a little about Indonesia.

This is her card. The deep purple flowers were spritzed with silvery water. And she even inserted a bookmark for me. So lovely. And those stamps on the envelope,..ohlala, it's been so long that I don't do philately.

This is my card to Marian King in Philippines.

You're Gr-r-r-r-reat!

How's life this afternoon? I just finished teaching my little fellows. Then had a time to make this card. Do you know Larry in 'Spongebob'? This digi image from Paper Cupcakes TMITA reminds me of that little creature in my fave cartoon.. Yes, it's my fave 'cause I've accompanied my kids for more than 10 years to watch this movie... (3 Dds, of course). You can get the image there.

I used the sketch from IC Sketch 80. And to be eligible to join DDSB Challenge 22 this week with the theme: So Distressing, I distressed the edges of the green paper. The pp were punched using Fiskars punch. I colored the image with several Copic Sketches. It seems I've been in the mood of coloring images since last night. Beside this, I've colored another four images and 'll show you later. The sentiment is from my favorite blog, Create With TLC. Just click and you'll find lots and lots and lots freebies. Paulette is so talented.

This is my take for those three challenges.

Just Saying Hello, Tilda

I'm back again this late afternoon. I made this card, because I had this image alone. So, I colored this Tilda with some Copic Sketches. And made this card with the sketch from Card Positioning System Sketch 181. Here is my take.


I enter this for Cute Card Thursday Challenge 127, with the theme: Dieing for a Punch! That means no nesties, no punches, no CB machine, but the paper trimmer. Ohlala....

OLW - Border

Hi friends, meet again.

I seldom use border stamp. This is a real challenge. Because the cards below are the result of the 10th and 11th attemps!! LOL... The Simplicity - OLW 17 this week is using boder stamp.

The card with green lace border was the 10th attempt. I added the blings there.


Then I thought of stamping with the lace facing down with brown ink and half pearls on it. So this one below was the 11th attempt...


Which one is okay?

It's my Mom's b'day today. I'll go there this afternoon by train with my youngest DD. I made her a birthday card. I used the technique given by Hero Arts, embossing. I join this card for this month's challenge, second round.

My other card for her is the one with Tilda on it. I like the sentiment made by Create With TLC. It is really suitable for the challenge by Just Magnolia #69. I used the sketch from IC Sketches #79. Look at the grass. That's what I learned from Color Me Copic blog. Well, I think my grass is not that good.. LOL... And the colors, I used five colors: orange, pink, green, brown, blue as it was stated in MDUC Color Challenge.

Simplicity - A Scene of Friends

It's a late afternoon here. And just clicked the adorable blog. Never want to miss this OLW challenge. This time the theme is Stamp a Scene. Just click and you'll find fabulous card made by Susan R.

Well..well, it's time to use my very brand new (but bought long time ago) stamp, called Tree Swing, designed by Grace Taylor from Grant Archival. This is the only scene stamp that I have. Hmm, next time I have to look for more, because scene stamp may give us many things to think of what that scene is about. That kind of stamps may tell stories. Do you agree?

Like this stamp, I was thinking of my childhood, swinging and playing with neighbor friends. The swing was hooked on the branch of a mango tree. What a wonderful neighborhood...

Here, I also (again) used my Shapeboss to emboss the word 'friends'. How come I have forgotten this fabulous tool... So, this is my card.

Happy Birthday Blue Box For A Boy

Hi, I'm back... I just finished making my blog a little bit clean. I am still learning on how to upload pics on the header. Perhaps my English is not that good to understand the orders..LOL.

Here is a blue box, for a friend. She asked me to make one in everything blue. He likes blue, so I tried to make everything with blue nuance. This lid cover actually represents the front "card" for him. I gave her some choices of mix-and-match stamping results. So this is the best one she likes.


The digis of car and bicycle are from Digi Dodle's Shop. I bought them via my friend (due to the not-having of a credit card..LOL..) The digi sentiment is from Create With TLC, that says "A Million Hugs and Kisses". Wow! The monogram stamp is from Inkadinkado. And the Chinese Boy is from Hero Arts.

And as the inside of the "card", she wanted me to make just a little note (without her name on it..). So I just cut this shape, stamped the note as the background, and the sentiment from Hero Arts and Fiskars. The digi cupcake is from Paper Cupcakes which I got freely in TMITA.

Just Saying Hello With Flowers - DDSB Challenge

This is another card I made today. I join the CCC August held by Deborah Nolan. This month, we must have a contact with the recipient of our card. We did. The sender sent me email. That's Rikke Poulsen from Denmark. I am now waiting for her card. In the meantime, the conversation went on and we made a deal. I make her a card and she'll send me something, some kind of a goodie bag.. How lovely.. So this is my card for her.


I used HA stamps. I colored the flowers with Copic Sketch markers. This time, I just colored them, without thinking of the color gradation. I gave 'ticks' to the buds and the center of smaller flowers, using All Purpose Ink from Tsukineko. Love this ink. I enter this to DDSB Challenge 20: Flowers. Like a saying says:"Say it with flowers". My hubby never gives me ones...Hahaha.. But he lets me grow the hibiscus in many different colors..

Joy in Yellow and Blue - OLW Simplicity

It's been a while that I don't post anything here. Today, I managed to make some cards. This is one of them. The idea is from Susan R in Simplicity OLW 15: Unexpected colors. As I saw Susan's image on her card, I remember that I have a stamp, an almost forgotten one. That's the one from PSX and I believe it is not available in any stores now.. This stamp is one of my first stamps that I owned. This is my take.


I also used my Fiskars Shapeboss.. It's also an almost forgotten tool, since I have possessed the CB machine. The ink pads are like the one shown in the pic. I got it from a scrapbook package. The ink is good enough.

Cook Up A Card - August Recipe

It's AUGUST already... Wow.. Time flies soooo fast. We even had Christmas in July, and now comes the 8th month of the year.. It's time for cooking in Cook Up A Card Challenge. It is still summer in some places in the world. Well, we have summer here most of all year long...LOL... When I spent three-week homestay during summer in Tours, France several years ago, I saw so many beautiful flowers almost everywhere. I even saw the flowers that I had never seen before. They were all soooo lovely. I even bought some packs of the seeds and tried to grow them in my place. Some grew beautifully, though were not like in their origin. By the way, my friend took a pic of me under the bus shelter sign called "Fleurie" which means flowery...LOL... (..btw, I also ate some fruits and nuts that I had never eaten before..)

The recipe this month reminds me of those beautiful summer flowers..(..I expect to go back there some day..). Susie had written the recipe. This is it:

Let's see what I have cooked here. I can't stop cooking...that I made three cards in a row..


I already entered the first card above to some challenges.


For the second card above, I inked the Cling with several dew drop chalk inks and stamped it onto a piece of white cardstock, and cut them into 6 pieces. Adhered them like a puzzle. Then I stamped once the Cling with flowers, colored them with Copic Sketch Markers. I'm still trying to color them with the technique I got from Color Me Copic Blog. You can find many tutorials here. From all those three flowers, I love the way I colored the blue one. I added some pearl gems. And gave a glitter ink on the buds. And I enter this card to join The Crazy Challenge (again): All About Birthdays, Stamp n Doodle: Anything Goes, Mami Doodles: Anything Goes.


The card above is the third one. Love the simple colors on it. This will be given to a lady (..mother of my ex boyfriend..pssst..), who always keeps in touch with me. I used the CB machine to shape the card. I embossed the white cardstock. The sentiment is a digital stamp from Paulette from Creative With TLC that you can find here. Then I punched each corner. I left the sentiment just the way it is, without coloring it. I colored the image using the technique from Color Me Copic blog here. Indeed, still need more practice.

Happy Birthday in Outlines

I did have some hours spent on my craft table this afternoon. I managed to make three cards as choices for the next month DT (pssst..wait for the recipe next August 1..).

Then, I tried to make the one that kept playing on my mind: using outline stamps. Oh boy, it's not as easy as I thought. The dew drop chalk ink didn't work out so well. So, again, I used my fave, those Zig brushes. They didn't even come better.. (well, blame it on the brush..LOL). Or maybe the Poly clear can't go with these brushes..(now blame it on the stamp..LOL).. This card is my fifth attempt...Haha.. So here is the result:

Happy Birthday in Grey and Black

It's Sunday afternoon. I just finished making some stamping for my account in Multiply. Then I remember the first challenge held by Color Me Copic blog. I specially went to Jakarta to buy some more Copic Sketch Markers: C1, C3 and C5. I already have C7 and C9 and of course, the Colorless Blender. I love the tutorial and just tried this technique. This is the card. I use the sketch from Card Pattern Sketch 74.

And this is the closer look on the image colored with Copic Sketch Markers C1, C3, C5 and C7.


I am a bit satisfied with the result, as I NEVER did this technique.. LOL. So, this is the first time for me coloring this way and I think I need more practice. Please give me feedback on the way I colored this image.

Guy Thing

Hi crafters,

Meet again.. It's been a week that I was away to Jakarta to organize the funeral of my uncle. My sista n her hubby and me were really occupied organizing all the things from A to Z for the funeral. Thank God that everything went soooo well, including the traditional event. And now, on Saturday afternoon, I'm back at my craft table creating this card.

I have several digi stamps from Digi Doodle Shop. Judy n her mom are very keen on these digis. Check their store here. I used one of the digis that I bought via my friend. The oval "Guy Thing" digi is from Create With TLC. Paulette is so clever and so generous with so many freebies in her blog here. I colored with Copic markers in three kinds of blues. I'm still learning how to color using Copic Sketch Markers which is taught in Color Me Copic blog here.

Get Well Soon Card - 3 challenges

Hello everyone,

At the end of this afternoon, I managed to make one card for the challenges. Well, before that, I made a tutorial in my Multiply account. The tutorial was about making handmade flowers on the cards. You can check here.

The first challenge for this card is from DDSB Challenge 16: use scraps. I love the olive green cardstock. So, I kept whatever leftover of it. I wanted to cut with Label 8, but it was not enough. C'est pas grave, je pense... LOL.. The small 4 white papers were inserted between the white and the olive green cardstocks. The butterfly was punched from the leftover from the white card I made the other day. I used the digital stamp from their store: Vintage Bonnet. (I bought it via my friend since I don't have any CC..)

The second challenge is for Card Positioning System 175 with the sketch. So, here is my take on the sketch.

The third challenge is for Incy Wincy Design Challenge 50 : Distress It. I distressed the edges of white and olive green cardstocks. I applied Distress ink on the white one. The edges of the green was given ivory ink.

I used Copic markers to color the digi stamp. I was trying to color using the technique given in Colormecopic blog. Well, not good in photographing..LOL...

Hibiscus - OLW SImplicity

Hello friends,

What a morning! I started my day with a chocolate milk and later ended up in front of my laptop, looking for Simplicity blog. And...found the challenge is the one with my most favorite technique... Ahay...: some form of watercolor. Love it so much. And I was inspired not to make only one but five. I'm showing only four, because the other one got a little 'accident'...LOL. I automatically grabbed my most favorite stamp, the Hibiscus. I love this kind of flowers. I do have some pots of this flower in various colors. So much in love with Hibiscus.. See here for your knowledge about my love for Hibiscus.

Here are the cards I made.

I used Penny Black Stamp, my magic ZIG brushes and the fabulous Ranger Mini Mister to spray the water. The sentiments are from Hero Arts.
