Tag 2 - Three Girls in Pastel Colors

Hello friends,

Happy Sunday

Here are my second tags for 12 tags of Christmas...

I cut tags using Papertrey Ink die cut. They were white card stock. They I distressed the tags using 2 colors: blue and yellow. I stamped this set of girls from Hero Arts. They were quite old stamp set. I still adore them. I colored them with Copic markers without gradation. Just colored them with 3 different colors. For the hair, I recolored it with Copic Multiliner 0.7. The sentiments were also from Papertrey Inkc. I love this kind of sentiments. I tied each of them with twines Shore then tied a ribbon using twine Buttercream.

I adore the result. Just the way I wanted them to be.

Today is Sunday, no special things. I played keyboard twice in Sunday school. Then in the afternoon, I traveled to Jakarta by train. There, I met my hubby. He was having a small reunion with his HS classmates. One of them was my college mate.

In the evening, we went to the hotel to spend the night there, because on the following morning, we would have a annual medical check up. I met this cute dog again. It's Junior. It was our sixth meeting. He looks healthy, bigger and taller. I just wished I had had a dog like him.

Ok, then. Until tomorrow.

Tag 1 - Noel on Neenah

Hello friends,

Happy Saturday.. As I promised, starting today, I will upload one kind of tag each day, until December 23.

These are the tags. Inspired by justmeprints.

I used Papertrey Ink die cut Neenah brown paper to make the tags. I love this die cut so much. Then I used a doily die cut out as a template to make dots. The dots represent the snow. I used a white pen from Uni Ball. They were easy to find in the local bookstore.

Then I cut a parchment paper to make Christmas leaves using a Spellbinder poinsettia die cut. 1 die cut out was for these 2 tags. Then I punched 6 dots on red paper, applied the Stickles: Candy Cane. Finally, I stamped Noel from Papertrey Ink.

Meanwhile, these are the pictures of Christmas celebration in my daughters' school: secondary and primary. What I enjoyed was making the potluck food. I think potluck is a better way to provide food in any parties. Yesterday, I made these rounds. This was how the committee arranged on the table.

I packed them in doughnut boxes (3 boxes = 16 rounds). See the white box on the picture. I just added a Christmas ribbon. They were all gone in minutes. One teacher said, it's quite big that made him feel full immediately, whereas he still wanted to taste other meals. Sorry...

That's why, today I made it again in a 8" x 8" aluminium foil. I made 2 squares and 2 rounds.

And this was how they were arranged on the table. Before the lunch ended, I found no more noodle schotel I made. Hehehe...

And the picture below: my daughter, P3 student, sang in a choir.

Well, hope everyone enjoyed the party, the food, the celebration, and even the togetherness in the event.

The Birthday Story - Green and Red Christmas Card

Hello friends,

It's Thursday.. Yesterday was my daughter's birthday. I came to my Mom's house. And the tradition continues. My Mom prepared a boiled egg, plus a pinch of salt and pepper. That's for the birthday girl. This tradition has happened since long time ago, since I was a little child.

We celebrated it together in Jakarta. We ate at Bottega Restoriante. It's an Italian restaurant. We were just four.

I chose to have Spaghetti Aglio Olio with pork. It was yummy...

Then, my Mom and my sister's family came over. This is Kezia and my Mom.

We all enjoyed the meals and drinks and the talks.. And before we went to the parking lot, we took pictures in front of the resto. This is a recommended resto. The service was also awesome.

Three generations...

And then, we visited my parents' in law's house. Luckily we could meet everyone there. It was so joyous. My father-in law was so happy that he asked to have a picture with my kids.

And, finally we took picture together. What else can I say about this moment? A rare moment..

After that, we went back to my mom's house, cleaned ourselves, and left the house to Grand Indonesia. I spent time with my kids. And this picture was taken before we left the mall. The decoration was awesome. There were many paper wind mills. The idea was simple but the result was great.

Then, the final destination was the railway station. Before my daughter left, she took this picture.

Bye bye, Kezia. See you next week... Take care of yourself.

By the way, this is the card I want to share with you. I used Spellbinders die cuts. MS birder punch and Hero Arts stamp.

Ok.. thanks for reading this post. See you again tomorrow...

Grey & Marroon Christmas

Hi friends,

Good morning...

This early morning, I will travel to Jakarta to meet my daughter. Today is her 18th birthday. Luckily it is a holiday in Indonesia. Because it it an regional election day. I have no idea whether I have a chance to elect the Mayor. Don't know.

This is the card I upload for today.

I will tell you all about my daughter's birthday tomorrow. Have a wonderful day.

Grey and Green Christmas

Hello friends...

Today I had a fellowship at home. All the ladies came to my house. We had learned God's words, and practiced Christmas choir "O Holly Night".

I ordered 'nasi bakar' --> roasted rice. I made mango juice. The mangoes were from the mango trees I have at the front and backyard. And finally, fruits that I call 'rujak'. So yummy.

Then my daughter told me that there would be no school tomorrow. I ordered train tickets to go to Jakarta. Tomorrow is my first daughter's birthday. She will turn 18. Can't wait for tomorrow..

And after they all went home, I managed myself to upload the pictures. I made this some time ago. Grey and green are not real Christmas colors. But I just love the color combo.

Ok, until tomorrow.

Green & Yellow Christmas

Happy Monday morning, my friends,

Today will be another hectic day. I need to go to the funeral house. A hubby of my friend passed away last Saturday. So very sad, as the kids are still little, 8 and 6 y.o. I do hope my friend, Christine, is strong enough to face this. It really hurts when we lost someone we really love.

Then after that, I will have a sewing class. The ladies will sew a wristlet pouch with a zipper. Each person needs much time to do this. I think I will finish just after noon time.

After that, I will be back home, cleaning the back terrace of the craft room. It should be cleaned this late afternoon, as tomorrow I will have a Tuesday Fellowship at home. I don't like messy house.

Later in the evening, I will be on air in the radio. Then, when I'm back home, I will clean the part of the house where we will have the fellowship.

Anyway, this is the card I upload this morning. The image was the one used in ODOI last October.

I love the color combo... See you again tomorrow.

Pink Christmas

Hello friends,

Happy weekend.

Today I upload this pink card. Again, the image was published last October in 'one day one image to color'. Still remember this?

And it turned to this one:

Well, Christmas can be pink. I'll be back tomorrow, with another colors.. See you..

4.12.15

Purple Christmas

Hello friends,

Happy Friday.

Today I upload this purple card. The style was the same as other cards. Yes, I made the similar card style for several images. That's quite easy for me. And as a matter of fact, I don't really enjoy making a crowded card. A simple one will ease my mind..

The image had been colored last month when I joined the 'one day one image to color'. I colored it with Copic markers. I like this Tilda. She's so joyful. And it is still the original Tilda look. She's still tall, and has no chubby cheeks.

I love the color combo....

Noel

Hello my friends,

Meet again in December... The 'one day one project ended, and there's no compulsory feeling to create something. But I created!

Well, only 22 days left for Christmas. I still make some Christmas cards. Here is one for you to feast your eyes. I only used die cuts: Papercut Alpha Die from Waffle Flower.

And here is my card:

The bow was from Memory Box. I added Liquid Pearl in the middle of the bow. It looked like a half pearl. For sure, it took less time to make.

See you again later.
