Patricia Garcia's Green Blog Candy

Yesterday, I happened to enter the previous card into Totally Gorjuss challenge. I misunderstood the meaning of "check", just when I visited Patricia Garcia's blog. Oh my, what an embarrassing moment (let alone I graduated from English Department..LOL).

Well, I, then, scrooled down in her blog to see all the beautiful creations she's made and found that she is having a GREEN blog candy. Wow! so yummy..

It ends on March 7, 2011.

Thanks for the chance, Patricia.

Silhouette Lady

Hello, back again.

This card is using my new die cut Silhouette Lady. Love it so much.

I don't use a black color as a usual silhouette color, because when I was in the middle of making this card, I saw these two DPs. So, the colors also go to the flowers.

Birdie Small Box

Hi friends,

In the last mini meet, I got this orange petit box from my friend, Yussi. In the past, she decorated the box lid with the quilling creations. This time she couldn't manage her time to quill, so she just gave me the box. It's a pretty neat handmade box. So I decorated it with my new bird die.

Tags for friends

I'm back again.

Last Tuesday, I met friends of mine in Jakarta. They are friends of creating cards, crafts, etc. This time, we were fifteen!!! Wow!! So many new friends. We met at Facebook. We did some card making. I myself learned hybrid scrapbooking. It's a wonderful new knowledge for me. At the end of the mini (..or maxi?) meet, I gave each of them some goodies and a tag. Here are my tags.

I used some punches to create everything on the tags. The background was stamped with 'bark' stamp from Hero Arts. The sentiment was the one I really adore from Hero Arts, as well.

Challenge:
Simon Says Stamp And Show - Tag

Thanks for looking.

Just Saying Hello

Hi friends,

Wow... how long did I miss posting here? I miss you and your comments so much. This is the card I made just now. I used my new die cut, a bird cage. It seems to me that anything goes with a cage is a vintage look. Well, not that easy to make a vintage look. So, I decided to make a monochrome card with a hint on the bird itself.

This is my card.

To embellish the cage, I used punch outs: leaves, gave distress ink. The flowers were stamped and cut. I added the bling-bling and some stickles to make it a bit shiny. I know, it doesn't turn that good.Or, I was not good enough to take the picture. ;D

Challenges:

Cute Card Thursday #152 -

Digi Doodle #47 -
Anything Goes
Dutch Dare Card Challenge #100 - Glitter/Bling

Thanks for looking, friends. I feel good making a new card today. Hope you do as well.

Hi friends.

Just to match it. This is an easel card. I think I'm quite addicted to make easel cards. It's fantastic, that the front card can be seen every time, because it stands just like a photo frame.

Mini Meet Card Lovers (and makers, too)

Hi friends,

I almost forgot to upload these photos. We met each other last week, January 5, 2011. We met at my Mom's house in Jakarta. The photo will tell us how much we enjoyed our time together. Before Jeane went back to Sydney, she demonstrated how to make a shaker card using Stampin Up! products. Jeane is SU! demonstrator who lives in Sydney. She's in Indonesian but a PR of that city. Isn't it adorable to have a friend who is a demonstrator of SU!

Prepare all the things.

Jeane demonstrated how to make a shaker card and also how to use a stamp-a-majig.

Jovita was amazed by Big Shot!! It's the first time for us to see that fabulous machine.

Eva was busy embossing card stock with my Cuttlebug machine.

Ayu is playing with new Stampin Up! stamp and ink pad.

Indah and Jovita were busy making cards and using the Big Shot!! What a wonderful tool.

Look at the shaker cards I made!! Wow!! Stampin Up! is adorable.

Before leaving, we all stamped any images from stamps that we don't have. That's fabulous.. LOL.

These are the goodies I gave each of them. The card was made of newest stamps of Hero Arts 2011.

See you again, friends.
Hope to meet you again, Jeane.
We did have a fabulous time.

Thanks for looking, friends...

Update: January 27, 2010, the set card has been featured in Hero Arts blog here. I am so thrilled...

Hello Flowers

Hi friends,

This morning, I woke up with the idea of making this card. Masking it. I stamped the ivy leaves first, covered it with the cut ivy leaves, then I stamped the dotty background. I adhered my newest flower stamps and the newest sentiment stamp.
I am addicted to stickles now, so I gave it on the edges of the flowers and on some dots on the card. All stamps are from Hero Arts.

For inside the card, I also did some masking with the same stamps. Added also the stickles.
Hope you enjoy what you see here, friends.

Challenges:

Simon Says Stamps and Show : Some Masking

Incy Wincy Design 76: Go Dotty

Cupcake Craft Challenges 124: Something New (new flower and sentiment stamps)

Hero Arts: Inspired by the catalog and masking technique

Congratulations, Tilda

Hi friends,

It's a lovely Saturday, isn't it? I just cleaned my craft desk, and then made this card come true. Since this morning, when I opened the challenges, I knew I wanted to make this card. It's been looong that I don't play with Tilda... How's life, Tilda?

Take a look at Tilda who is going to have her wedding..eh, engagement? Ah, at least for something new. Expecting new things in new year is also good thing to think of.

I curved a bit the "Congratulations" sentiment from Hero Arts, adorned her with some stickles on her dress, the bandana and her hair. And most of all, it's so relaxing, back to coloring stamp images.

Thanks for stopping by, friends...

First Challenge in Blogspot : A Set Of CAS

Hi friends, meet again.

I managed to make these cards for a friend of mine who would fly back to Aussie. We met last Wednesday on a Mini Meet. We were 8. The story will be on the next post.

Just take a look on them. I used Hero Arts stamp and the watercolor markers. And of course the Mini Mister to spray some water on the stamp.

I put them all in this paper purse.

And this is the closer look on the flower. Isn't it lovely? As I promised myself that in 2011 I'll put more and more flowers on my creation, so I did this.

Kicking off the new year, I enter these cards to join

Ginger Candies for Christmas and New Year Celebrations

Hi friends,

My DDs and I just finished packing some goodies for the Christmas and New Year Celebrations. We'll have a big reunion on Christmas day at my parents' in-law's house. So we made the ones with the Christmas tags. And for everyone who will come to my mother's house, will get the candies with Thank You's tags. Th
ese ginger candies are the best ones, I suppose. They are inexpensive and easy to get. Moreover, they are good for your health. Each plastic contains 10 pieces of candies. Here are the pics.

Hope everyone enjoy the ginger candies. Do you want some? Just leave your comment and email me your address, will you?

Sources: Hero Arts stamps for the front and local stamps for the back part.

And this is my card for today. Source: Hero Arts Stamps. See the shine on the scarf's doll. I am still addicted to using Glossy Accents...LOL... By the way, I made fifty cards like this one and they are now for sale on the Christian store in my town.

Joy To All - Silver, Blue and White

Hi friends,

It's almost Christmas!!!

I thought I would not join any challenges until next year....LOL. Because I made almost 100 Christmas cards and I felt a bit "dizzy". But the challenge from Simon Says Stamp Challenge with the theme: Silver, Blue and White really demanded me to make this quick card. These are my favorite colors. I adore all colors, but white and blue seem to be my fave ones. And Silver, wow..all my jewels are
made of silver. I love silver so much.

So, this is the card I made using my new Penny Black stamp set. I know it is not new in Penny Black, but I just managed myself finding this set in the store in Jakarta. Isn't it fabulous? Being able to buy stamps in store in Indonesia? Indeed, it's not that easy to find stamps here. We need to buy online or via friends who sell in Multiply or Facebook accounts.

More pic of the card:

I used the light blue cardstock, and the silver one. Sorry I can't take good pic for that. I colored the image with Copic. The scarf was colored with Popcorn Marker then I heat embossed it. So cute, right? The red bow was given a little Glossy Accents (still my fave stuff). The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Also join this for challenges:
The Crazy Challenge: Let It Snow
Mami Doodles #17: Cherish your Online Friend (it's for my friend that I met in Facebook and happens to be my close friends in making cards)

Thanks for looking and so grateful for your comments.
