Thinking of you

I made this card to join the CPS 136 challenge, for the first time.... I do hope it meets the sketch... And this card os for my sister's 40th birthday... Hope she likes it...

Supplies:
Cardstock embossed with Cuttlebug Machine (3 kinds of folders)
Stamp : Hero Arts (sentiment "thinking of you) & Inkadinkado Doodle Flowers (for the flower)
Punch : Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch

Thanks for looking, my friends...

Paper Piecing - thanks for all you do

This week HA challenge, paper piecing, is actually quite similar to Oshie. In Oshie, we need to cut part by part of the image and then wrap it with the patterned paper. While in paper piecing, we just cut it and adhere it. This is quite challenging for me, as it needs accuracy in cutting, and moreover, it needs neatness.
This is the front card.

Take a closer look at the mathryoska paper doll here. I used Chirimen paper which originally is from Japan.

For the inside of the card, I used my newest stamp. It just arrived the other day. Dot Flourish from Hero Arts. And I also stamped the sentiment.

Thanks for looking....

Happy Birthday Sista

Today is my loving sister's birthday. I sometimes depend on her advice on family living. Here is a card for her. The background is embossed (with Cuttlebug Muchine). The edge of the white cardstock is punched with MS punch. I used my Tea Leaves ink pad on the embossed image.
The flowers was stamped in three ink colors, then I used colored pencil.
The sentiment is from HA stamp.
Hope she likes it. happy birthday, sister Irma...

Hi There - ATC

Hi there,
It's been long time not posting anything, as I forgot the email address of this blog :(
This is my first ATC card. At first I didn't know exactly what ATC meant. My flickr friends explained it to me so dearly. Thanks a lot. I joined the Hero Arts Challenge for ATC. I made three ATCs.

So, below is the second one.

I adore hibiscus and orchids. They are so colorful and beetween easy and difficult to take care of. Once, my quilling friend offered many flower punches, I was no in doubt to order. This punch-Moth Orchid- is the one I love much. I put this orchid paper on the ATC. At the back of the orchid, a magnet was attached. So, after getting the ATC, the orchid can be the decoration on the fridge door.

Elementary School - Santa Maria 60th B'day

I was asked to teach something for the elementary students. They were my kid's friends, too. There were more than 30 students participated in shift classes.

I taught them how to make Kimono Fridge Magnet. I also had a table to display my crafts. The students and the parents were mostly interested in PUNCHES!!! I even had to demonstrate how to use them and how to create something from one punch. I showed them how to create a dress from a Bell punch (the red one). It was really fun...

Children are curious

As I was decorating frames with quilled flowers, my kids also wanted to learn this technic. So I taught them the easiest quilling flower. Kezia with yellow flower and Sisi with orange flower. Here they are. Crafts day to remember..

Teaching Japanese Bookmarker - November 7, 2008, GKP Cirebon

Look at those faces!! Don't they look happy? Finally, they were able to finish what i was teaching them, Japanese Bookmarker. They said, they would use it for their Bible markers. Yes, I was teaching ladies in one church in Cirebon. the priest told everybody, that what I taught might open their minds, that they could have something to earn. I agreed with the priest. I have been making Japanese Bookmarker for more than 1000 pieces, and am still making them. I earned and still earn from this cute creation. If I can, so can you.

Small Boxes

I love boxes!! These boxes were made with papers. The boxes were covered with colorful plain papers. The lids were covered with Yuzen Washi (Japanese Paper). Yuzen Washi is a name of one adorable Japanese paper. These papers are indeed beautiful. Inside the lid, I stamped: "The Beauty Of Washi".

Quilling Frame

This black paper photo frame was decorated with quilled flowers. I used spiral punch and leave punch to make the frame more alive. The white bars were free handcut.

The orange nuance frame took quite more time to make.

Aren't they pretty? Quilling is a time-consuming crafts, but adorable one.

Frame with roses

J'adore photo frames!! I love frames. I made this black one with papers and papers. The roses are made from punched hearts, pink and dark pink. I used punches to almost all my crafts.
