ODOP - Day 1 - Ta Ta For Now

Hello friends,

Meet again in "one day one project". This time for 16 days. The theme is yellow. I used this pansy flower. I love it so much. I stamped twice on a white card stock then punched them. I cut one white leaf. The stamp, the punch and the die cut were all from Stampin Up. On a rectangular card stock, I stamped splotches from Hero Arts wood stamp set called Random Splotches. I was so glad when I found this stamp set in the store. I used DI ink pads: weather wood and mustard seed. I also stamped dots and circles. The stamps were also from Hero Arts, old collection. The frame was from Label Eight die cut from Spellbinder. I added some sequins. They are new in my craft rooms. The pattern paper was from Echo Park Paper: here & now. I adhered the rectangular white card stock on to the grey card stock. And finally I adhered it on a yellow card.

Below: after I stamped the splotches, before I adhered anything.

And this is the closer look.
The sentiment "ta ta for now" was from Hero Arts, old collection. I want to give this card to my colleague who will return to Canada and has finished strong teaching at school. I don't think I will meet him again, as he has decided to teach in other countries. I'm quite sad, because he has been my only close friend at school, who happened to understand my wishes for the school. I wish him a wonderful journey of life....

You Are Perfect The Way You Are

Hai friends,

As I mentioned yesterday, I will show you my favorite flower. Yes, it is hibiscus. I love it so much that I happened to have various of hibiscus when I still stayed in mother's house.
I wish I could fine one or two trees of hibiscus so that I can plant them at home.

So this is my card using Heroarts stamp set: Color Layering Hibiscus. This was not the first time I used the set. But I wanted to repeat and repeat again. You know, I was so blown-up when I saw this stamp set on Simon Says Stamp website. Without hesitate, I bought this set. It came with Misti and some ink pads of MFT and SSS. I will try those ink pads later on.

I colored the hibiscus using ZIG Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush. The first layer, I colored the stamp, then I stamped on the paper, using the MISTI. Then I had to use the Sakura Koi watered brush to smooth the ink color. It worked well. I love the result. Then I used the second layer. Again, I colored the stamp. But this time, I used the watered brush to smooth the ink on the stamp, then I stamped on the first layer. This also happened on the third layer. I love the result.

I used Heroarts sentiment. It was an old stamp, but I still keep the  set because the sentiments are all versatile. Then I poured some frantage. I adhered the white card stock on green Bazzil card stock.  I know it's a simple card. I like simple cards, though I also enjoy making "a-bit-crowded card". Hehehe.. Perhaps I will use the die cut of the hibiscus.

Ok, then... thanks for visiting my post. Bye..

New Stamping Tool - So blown-up me

Hi friends,

Last Monday early morning, when I arrived home from Surabaya, I found a package from Simon Says Stamp. Yay!! The MISTI arrived!! Safe and sound. So very glad.

This late afternoon, I managed myself to make 5 similar cards. I saw the tutorial in Jennifer McGuire's blog post. And this is her video in Youtube. It was amazing that I could make similar to hers. I hope she doesn't mind I was making the same kind of card.

Here they are.

The closer look:

I used Vintage Rose stamp set from Altenew. The ink pads were all from Versa Craft. I just bought them last weekend in MSL Surabaya. They gave 50% off for all ink pads. Wow!!
The sentiment was from Hero Arts.

What do you think? Do you like roses? I don't really like them. My favorite flowers? Well, I'll show you tomorrow.. :D

ODOP - FInal Day - Our Little Man

Hi friends,

Finally... the 'one day one project' for this edition has come to an end. The theme is "baby boy".. Oops... how I wish I could have one baby boy. All three angels at home are all beautiful girls.. :D
And since I only had soooo limited time, I made this card like this one. Yeahhh.. very sorry, it's sooo simple. I just cut a piece a piece of picture and then I added a piece of sentiment which was also coming from the same edition. It was from Kaiser Craft pattern paper.

I hope you like this simple. Well, a 12 x 12 card stock with 6 or 8 pictures on it is very useful, when we are in a hurry to make a card.

See you again...

ODOP - Day 32 - Goodies For You

Hello friends,

"One day one project" is almost over. Tomorrow will be the last day. And today's theme is Food and Beverage. At the beginning, I truly had no idea. Then, 2 hours ago, when I was at school giving Speaking Test, I remember that I still have some  cupcakes. Then I also remember that I just bought a new stamp set along with the die cuts. So, here is the result.

The stamp set and the die cut were from Lawn Fawn. When I bought them, I already had an idea. I wanted to put it on tags. The tags will be hung on the bunch of cookies. The cookies would be given to 12 graders farewell nite. But, the plan stayed the plan. I had no time to do that. However, I had that chance today. So glad to make them.

Do you like them?

ODOP - Day 31 - Find the Good in Everything

Hello friends,

Wow! It's a very hot day today in Cirebon. I couldn't stand the heat, eventhough the air-conditioner was on. I wish I could make 2 more cards. Well, I still can wait until this evening, when the sun has set and the heat has gone.

Anyway, I managed to make this card. The theme is: something gothic. Gothic is not horror. Hehehe... I don't like skulls nor spiders nor something to do with a long-hair lady and everything that goes with her. So I just chose the color. It's black. The black card stock was from Kaiser Crafts; the Halloween paper pad. I cut it with a die cut from StampinUp! The purple card stock was actually quite glittery. But, I couldn't take a better photo than these.

The Summer Dragonfly was cut from a die cut. Brand: Couture Creations; I bought it from Simon Says Stamp website. It was in great sale; less than $5.

What do you think? Does this card have a gothic style? Lol...

ODOP - Day 30 - Follow Your Dreams

Hello friends,

Today I managed to make this card with 'bling bling' on it. Just a simple card.
I used StampinUp! butterfly punch. It's a retired punch, I guess. I made 6 layers with colorful card stocks. I used a needle to make the rail for the bling bling. The sentiment is from the computer. I just printed it.

Take a closer look at the butterlfy.

As I mentioned, I used a needle to make little holes as a rail. Then I adhered some bling blings on the rail.

ODOP - Day 29 - Looking Forward

Happy Sunday, friends...

It's just an ordinary Sunday. The difference: I played the keyboard in Sunday School session, for the first time this year.. I was absent for 4 months. And my kids, they joined the kids' choir and also served the fellowship in Music Ensemble at church.

This late afternoon, I made this card. The size is 11 cm x 15 cm. The theme is animal. All I knew that I only had "deer" stamp. But when I searched the stamp drawer, I found this old hedgehog stamp from Penny Black. I stamped it immediately on a piece of white paper that I already cut some days ago. I colored it with Copic markers. Then I stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts. Take a closer look on how many layers I attached on the card. The reason? Well, you guess it..

You guess the reason and write it on the comment in my facebook account here: Dwita's Crafty Crafts.

See you tomorrow..

ODOP - Day 28 - Witheart

Hi friends,

A plan was still just a plan. Still, I couldn't manage myself to clean my craft desk. I just made this card for the theme: the logo of the online seller: Witheart. The color is turquoise, with some flowers and a label or a stack in the middle.

In this card, I used Craft Concepts embossing folder: In Stitch. The stack was from a scrap paper. I think I have used this paper for the third time. Hehehe.. So pretty pattern paper that I wanted to use it 'till the end of it. I cut it by using the Papertrey Ink die cut. The swirl on each side of the stack was from Memory Box die cut. The writing "Witheart" was from stickers, the brand was October Afternoon. The ribbon was from a punch, brand McGill.

This is the closer look on the centerpiece of the card.

I love how it turned out. The little red has made the card not boring, I guess.. Hehehe..

Ok, then, hope Vemi will like my card. :D

Thanks for visiting..

ODOP - Day 27 - Let's Go For A Ride

Hello friends,

Tonight, just now, we had a barbeque dinner with the students from Grade 9, the JS teachers and the Principals. We had so much fun taking pictures. It was much different from the farewell of HS a couple day ago. Here is the pic.

The students and some teachers are spending this night together at school. Isn't it fun?

Then I went home, and made this card for the 'one day one project'. The theme: balloons. I used a bike die cut from Memory Box. The grass punch as from MS. The balloons were punched using McGill punch. The sentiment was from Hero Arts.

Tomorrow is Saturday. I will spend some time to clean my craft table. So many things there. Hehehe..
Ok, until tomorrow.

MAY CHALLENGE - Something You Enjoyed Playing

Here we go, friends,

I start again the FB Challenge. This is to celebrate 4 years challenge. The theme is: Something you enjoyed playing when you were kids. You can make anything.

I used StampinUp! stamp set. The size of the cards: 8 x 8 cm. Small cards. And the tsuru is from yuzen washi. Lovely colors.

Join my Facebook: Dwita's Crafty Crafts.

ODOP - Day 26 - It'll Be Okay

Hi friends,

And for today's theme: water. I used My Favorite Things stamp. I stamped again for the umbrella on a scrap paper. Do you still remember this pattern paper? Then I cut it, and attached it with a double foam tape.

Thanks for visiting..

ODOP - Day 25 - Je Pense A Toi

Hello friends,

So many things happened yesterday that I couldn't manage myself to make one project. So today I made 2 projects. Here the first one.

The first one with the theme: country. I used Hero Arts stamp, inked with DI. Then I cut 2 bubbles and stamped them with the French 'mots'. I attached a small red flower. It's a simple card, indeed..

Last night, there was a Farewell Party with 12 graders. Tears and laughs were bounded into one. This is one of the pics. We had barbeque.. We had so much fun...

And they even celebrated my birthday. Here is the picture.
It was the 8th celebration of my birthday. Oh my soul... what else could make me happier than this time? Eight times celebration... I really thank Jesus. It seems like a blessing in return...

Thanks for visiting..

ODOP - Day 24 - My Birthday Bash

Hello friends,

What a wonderful day!! It's my birthday today. May 19. How many celebration for today's joy? Hmm.. Take a look at these pictures.

The first one: The Tuesday Fellowship. It was this morning in my house. Look at those ladies. Their husbands were working in the same company as my hubby. Some of them already retired. See the joyful faces!

The second was at my Dd's school. It was a celebration of Mother's Day. I had wonderful time with my daughter and other students plus their moms.

The third one, it was a surprise from my students, the 12 graders. When I came home from school, they were already there. bringing the birthday cake and singing loudly. So surprise..

The fourth, it was a great time with other students from grade 10 and 11. They ate a lot, including the ice cream..

The fifth, I came to church to see my daughters practice the music,  bringing the noodle schotel for the moms. So much fun...

The last one, was a great surprise from my lovely 3 daughters. These cupcakes and a bouquet of flowers.. So wonderful..

Then, I decided to make this card, with the image I love a lot. The image was from My Favorite Things. The sticker HAPPY was from October Afternoon, and the sentiment from Hero Arts.

This is the charm. I was so happy today that I wanted to blow this trumpet. Lol....

What other joy? Everything was so much fun. This is one of the best birthdays I ever have...
Thank You, Lord, for all caring and lovely people I meet along my life...

Thank you, everyone, for all the joy you gave me all day long...

PS: In the morning, my Mom called me, my siblings texted me, my old buddies also texted me. My hubby? He also texted me.. Hahaha...
Waiting for a surprise from him.. :D

ODOP - Day 23 - You Drive Me Coco-Nuts

Friends,
Wow!! Finally the day has come!! The day I had to color images. Hehehehe... Thank you for the 'one day one project' coordinator for the today's theme. I had to color Tilda or Edwin image on a CAS card.

After finishing it, I took a look and thought, it was not that clean and simple because of those palm leaves.. Well.. I had no effort to repeat. So, this is it.

It's a cute image. I don't remember from which set this Tilda comes from. I bought many stamp sets, but, believe me, this was the first time again I colored Tilda.. Hahahaha...

All stamps were from Magnolia. I stamped the images with Memento ink pads: black and green bamboo, colored them with copic markers.

Hope you enjoy my card.... Happy coloring, too...
