ODOP - Day 22 - Thanks Tags

Happy Sunday, everyone...

Today I made these two tags. Easy to do. I just used my Copic markers to make the tri-color rectangle on each tag. Before coloring, I made a "window" from scrap papers.

Here are my tags:

The tag is a die cut from Papertrey Ink. The thanks die cut is from Simon Says Stamp. I covered them with Versamark and put the transparent embossing powder, then heated them. The sentiments were from Hero Arts and My Favorite Things.

I used 6 copic markers and 1 Colorless Blender:

The polkadot ribbons were from local store. The twines were from The Twinery.

You can try this way of coloring. Easy...

ODOP - Day 21 - Three Similar Cards

Hi friends,

This Saturday, I was occupied in the morning. Yeah, I woke up late, then went to a wedding reception, then went the mall to find some gown for my Dd to perform a dance on the farewell nite. No luck. I couldn't find any clothes.

I wanted to make a kurumie. But the daily headache came back. So I decided to submit these 3 similar cards for the 'one day one project'.

Before I gave the half pearls on each flower:

I made a similar card some time ago. These ones: pattern papers were from Trimcraft. The flowers, the leaves and the sentiments are from StampinUp! I cannot resist this flower stamp. I will make more with the pansy flower with different stamp design. I poured some frantage, too.

And these three will go to the store in Jakarta this coming Monday. Bye..bye, babies...

ODOP - Day 20 - Pocket for Money

Hello friends,

Today was a tiring day. It's the announcement day of 12 graders. Yess! They all passed the National Exams. Great!! Then they and I celebrated today together by having lunch together and going to the beach. It was so much fun. Just look at the picture...

Where is the teacher? LOL....

We really had fun, and went home when the sun was going to set. I came home around 7 p.m. Then I prepared dinner for my kids. After that, actually I was so tired. But I really wanted to make  this pocket money. Voila... whenever the smell of the craft room came, the tiredness faded.. Hahaha..

So, here is my pocket money:

It is only one side. It is not a card. It is only a piece of paper with two pockets. One pocket is for the tag where I can write the message, where the other pocket is for the money. Hey...where am I? In Korea? Hehehe.. Just the remain of the money left from traveling to Korea some time ago..

Here are the details of my creation. I used pattern papers from 1 pad: Kaiser Craft Bluebelle. Love the color combo of all papers.

This pocket money will be given to my Dd's Nursery teacher who gets married tomorrow morning. I do hope they enjoy the gift, as they also enjoy their new life, new family.

ODOP - Day 19 - Button Presents

Hi friends,

It's Thursday morning. It's the Ascension Day. So I went to church with my daughters. Now I'm at home, making these button presents. I used a stamp set from Papertrey Ink. Fabulous stamp set. I love how they turned out. The rectangle bases were also cut with Papertrey Ink die cut. Actually, I love every stamp set this brand produces. However, the postage from their place to mine is too expensive. And no other websites sell their products. So exclusive!

Before making these 6 button presents, I made this card. But, I was not satisfied with the result. Well, it's worth to show it here.. The stamps and the die cuts were from Papertrey Ink, except "enjoying this" is from Heidi Swapp, and the yellow one is from My Favorite Things.

Really cute.. Do you like collecting buttons? I do.. :D

ODOP - Day 18 - A vintage photo frame

Hello friends,

Before telling you about my creation, I want to share a little story about my first daughter. Her name is Kezia. She is in grade 12. Well, just think that she has graduated, though the announcement hasn't come up yet. Last night she had a prom nite. Don't think that the nite is the same as the original prom nite. As she came home in the middle of the night, she told me that they spent memorable moment with all school grade 12 friends. At almost the end of the event, they cried as if they didn't want to separate from each other.

This is her picture that I took last night before she left for the party:

 

We were hunting for her dress last month in Surabaya. The whole family. Lol. Then.. she made the accessories by herself: the necklace and the bracelet. All in black. In the afternoon, she went to the hairdresser. But she felt disappointed. She made up her hairdo .. et voila.. She also did her own make up. She really looked gorgeous last night.

And this morning, as the theme is "vintage", I decided to use her photo on my project. This is the result:

I used pattern papers from "Documented" Simple Stories. All the papers were from that 6x6 pad. The photo frame was the old one. Then I sand blasted it a bit here and there to make it look more vintage. Luckily, I have this background to take this picture. Amazingly matching..

I will give this photo frame tonight after dinner. Well, my heart is starting to feel sad, because, we will be in different cities starting next September. She will go to college. Hopefully she can enter the pubic university studying chemistry as she wishes. Or in the private university studying petroleum. That means she will be away from me. I won't be able to see her every day, every time. That thought already makes me sad and the tears almost fall down..

This photo frame, I hope, will remind her that I love her so much, my going-to-be adult girl..

ODOP - Day 17 - A rustic card and match box

Hi friends,

What is rustic? What is vintage? What is shabby? Pheww...  Today's theme is rustic. As a matter of fact, I understand rustic belongs to a village. Well, I don't know. Then my friend mentioned, it has a connection with kraft color. Ok..

Here is my take. You tell me, is it rustic or vintage?

 

I used Cuttlebug embossing folder for the nuance of rustic. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, stamped and white embossed. I used a Stampin Up! punch. The flower is made of corn flower. It's an Indonesian craft.

 The match box was made from a die cut from Lifestyle Craft. It was also embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder.

ODOP - Day 16 - Black and White Pansies

I'm back again, friends.

This was yesterday's project. The theme is Black and White. I made a card in those color combo.

Here is my card:

 I used Bo Bunny pattern paper. The flowers were from a stamp set of Stampin Up called Flowers Shop. It was stamped and then punched. Adorable, right?
The white leaves are from Marianne die cut. I gave a little grey ink on the edges.
The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink, and the film is a punch from Stampin Up!. The last, I added a pinch of frantage. Then I adhered it to a black card stock. If you have it on your hand, the black card stock was a dotted embossed card stock.

ODOP - Day 15 - ATC

Hello friends,

This is a late post of the 'one day one project'. This was for Sunday project. I didn't have time to make it earlier. It was a gladness and sadness day. One friend got married. I was so glad for that. On the other hand, a father of my student passed away. So sad for him.

The theme is ATC. If I make 15 similar ATCs, then send to Silvy, I will get 16 ATCs from her and 15 other friends. I will.. I will send 15 ATC... Cool...

Here is my simple ATC:
 

I used a stamp set from StampinUp! I adore the cages and the birds. Look at the long-legged bird. It's so funny. The ink pads were from Versafine. I love how the color turned out. I think I need to have more collection of Versafine. Lol...
The sentiment, of course, from My Favorite Things. It is from a stamp set about Art. I got it freely when I purchased die cut and stamps from its website two years ago. It's awesome, right?
Yeah.. I love doing the art and craft at home. When I am doing it, I totally forget anything else, including my students and the school things. Sorry.. lol...

ODOP - Day 14 - Two Yellow Cards

Hi friends...


Yellow...yellow... and yellow... Here are my take. Two cards for today.

 

Let me explain each card.

I used my newest die cut from Lawn Fawn, the stitch. I used it on the pattern paper from Kaiser Craft and also on the white card stock. I stamped the newest stamp from Altenew. Unfortunately, I don't have the yellow gradation ink pads. So I used Memento and Art Graphic brush pens. The leaves are stamps from Papertrey Ink. And the sentiment is from Hero Arts, stamped with Faded Jeans DI.

Now the second card: I used a flower stamp from Hero Arts. It's an old stamp. But it was quite famous in its time in the past. I love this flower stamp as I used it quite often long time ago. I colored the stamp with Memento and Art Graphic brush markers, then sprayed it and stamped. I poured some frantage on the left below part.

 

The sentiment stamp is from My Favorite Things. It was a free stamp set when I bought some other die cuts in its website. I love this set, because each sentiment tells me about art. And this one is so true, right?

 

This owl stamp is from StampinUp! It comes in a set. This is the first time I used this stamp. And the yellow flower hear the owl is from Hero Arts, not the same set as the big flower.

ODOP - Day 13 - Shabby Chic Card

Hello again, friends,

Today I made this shabby chic card. I adore the shabby chic colors, but I make it very seldom. To make this card, I must think very hard, the color combination and all the embellishment.

Here is my take:

 

I adore this kind of green. The pattern paper is from Primrose Collection of Bo Bunny pad. The oval die cut is from My Favorite Things. The tag die cut is from Magnolia

 

The look from above, so you can see the dimension.

 

And this is the look from the side. So you can see those three butterflies....

   

The French writing stamp is from Hero Arts. I used DI Burlap to stamp on some corners. This made the  chevron green and white not so empty.

 

Look at the flower arrangement closely. The paper leaves were die cut fro Memory Box. I adore the white daisy so much. This kind of flower can go with any flowers. The green burlap ribbon is the one I love, too.

 

This time, I didn't use sentiment stamp. I just cut from a pattern paper which was designed by Brandin O'Neil called Growing Girl, from Webster's Pages. Lovely sayings on the page. It was hard to choose, and finally I chose this saying. 

I love this saying. Nothing is impossible... Just believe...
