Thanks, Miss - Easel Box

Hello friends,

I had a wonderful time making this easel box. No..no.. I mean I just decorated the box. I bought the box and decorated it with some scraps and digi from my talented friends, Deasy Melania, in her web: Deasy Designs. Love this set of digi, Deasy...

Take a look on this picture.

Sources: Easel Box; pp from:  Hall Pass We R Memory Keepers, Awesome Simple Stories, Lost & Found MME; My Teachers from Deasy Designs; Twines from The Twinery; Copic sketches; PTI sentiment stamps; Vintage Photo DI

From the sides:

Look at the details:

I colored the images with a brighter colors than the papers' colors. So that the images will be outstanding among all the embellishments.

And the content of the box:

I printed the images in computer papers. Each pack has 25 pages. I tied each pack with the twine. Look at that Einstein. Isn't he so cute?

Surely Selin's teacher, Ms. Reni, will like this. (so sure, huh?? lol..) Because I know she appreciates crafts so much.

Well, this was the first time for me to decorate the easel box. It's not that easy, using pattern papers like a scrapbooker.. But, I like the result. Not bad, right? Right! ;D And, Deasy has put two pictures in her blog.

Tomorrow, I will make one more for Ms. Peny. That's Selin's class teacher. I will use more the digis.

Until next time, my friends..

Summer Break - DT ATC

Hello friends,

Have you visited my post yesterday? If you haven't, just click here. You can find the challenge of using the twines. Awesome twines.

And today, it is time for ATC Challenge at ATC's With Attitude, the theme is Summer Time. Yes, summer has started, and our friends in the USA and Europe (I think) have a three-month break. Isn't it awesome? I wish we also had it in Indonesia. Second half of June and the first half of July are days for school break in Indonesia. It will take 3 or 4 weeks holiday. Some families will go out of the town and enjoy the break. Me? Well, I really wish to stay in my craft room longer than the usual day. Hehehe..

Here is the my submission for the challenge.

Sources: Meljen's Design: Hula Diva; Copic sketches; Basic Grey Clippings pattern paper; Stampendous Aged Rose embossing enamel; Popcorn marker

Take a look on the skirt and the "ruffles" made of popcorn marker. I paper pieced the skirt and rolled a bit on each edge of it.

And look how beautiful the effect of the embossing enamel. Love it..

Pop into the challenge and enjoy the DT's creations. Join the challenge and have fun, my friends.

Friends Forever

Hello friends,

Meet again on Friday. It's ATC challenge again. It's in ATC's With Attitude. The theme is Neutral Colors. To tell you the truth, I didn't know exactly the neutral colors. Are they white, broken white, light brown, grey? Then I saw the images of the DT and found the colors. Perhaps mine are true.

This is my ATC.

Sources: Eureka stamp Best Friends, Copic, CB sentiment dies

As usual, I did the paper piecing. Just take a look at their hats.

Don't hesitate to join the challenge. Please go to the blog and check the DT's creations.

Until then..

Go to the blog, and find the DTs' creations. Have fun, friends.

Ribbon of Hope

Hi friends,

Here I am with an ATC for the Guest Designer in Crafting For All Seasons Challenge : Think Pink.
This challenge is to remember Dawn, the founder of that challenge blog who passed away because of the breast cancer. Dawn was a passionate and patient person. She never asked me more or said impolite words to me when I was a DT in that blog.

I used a free digi "Hope" from Beccy's Place. I used the colored one, cut it and adhered it with a foam tape on the ATC. I stamped the sentiment from MFT Stamps using Distress Ink Vintage Photo. That it also one of my favorite sentiment stamps.

So, here is the ATC.

May Dawn rest in peace and may her hubby and children are safe in the palm of Jesus. Thanks for Bianca, for asking me to make something for this special challenge. I was honored to do that. Though it is just a simple ATC, hope this will also make the friendship nicer. Thanks to you all...

Don't hesitate to join the challenge. It is so much fun to make ATCs.

These are the details:
The flowers were paper pieced (my fave creation)
The leaves were colored with Copic Sketch YG25

Font from computer: Bradley Hand ITC (love this so much)

Just if I have lots and lots of time to create, I shall make more and more.

Life has changed a little bit, since I joined this school. One thing for sure, the time and energy of mine, in the meantime, don't get along. lol...

Have fun, my friends...

It'll Be Okay

Hello friends,

Meet me again. This time I come up with the ATC for this fortnight challenge in ATC's With Attitude, the theme is April Shower. The image is from Bugaboo. Ava is as beautiful as other girl in the stamp world, I think. Take a look..

Sources: Bugaboo: Ava umbrella; paper from October Afternoon and Kaiser Craft; MFT sentiment; markers

First of all, I printed the whole image on the base of the ATC, the checked green paper. Then, I printed the dress image on the printed paper and cut it. I printed the face image on a white paper and cut it. I inserted the "neck" under the upper part of the dress. It also happened for the hands and feet. I doubled the umbrella.

Come to the blog and join the challenge. Again, I would tell you, it's so much fun making an ATC. Enjoy it..

See you again, friends.

Melancholy Spring

Hello friends,

Meet again. Yes, teaching at school has really occupied me. I think this is most crafters will do. Crafters will try the perfectness on the creation. This perfectness is carried away to the teaching of mine. I always try to do the best in the class, wishing nobody to complain and everybody understands. So, I have made myself so occupied with games, quizes, etc. Hehehe.

I could only managed myself to making ATC. Oh, and time flies so so so fast. It's already April. And here is my submission for the challenge in ATC's With Attitude, and the theme is SPRING.

What's spring? I know the meaning, I know how it looks like, I know the smell. But, I don't have that season in Indonesia. Sometimes it's not easy to translate western seasons into my creations. What I know is that spring has flowers. For this ATC, I think I missed the colors of spring. I just realized it after I posted in the DT blog. My friend showed her spring colors, and voila.. I had to color the image with those spring colors. Anyway, this is my ATC, whatever it is, I do hope it brings the spring ambiance.. (self defense? hehe..)

Sources: Sassy Studio Designs image: Fair Lady; CLD Window and leaves die cut, Copic markers, some flowers, sentiment from computer.

I googled the word 'spring', to find the other word that can accompany the word 'spring'. I found this melancholy spring. Hehehe..

As usual, I did decoupage on the ruffles of the umbrella.

After I uploaded it, I took the picture again. Take a look.

Hope you can join the challenge. Come to the blog, and check each creation of the DTs. Making ATC is one of the amazing things you can do. Because you only need to decorate a small piece of paper. Though, we need to think carefully, because sometimes we want to put many embellishments, where the area is not that big. :D

Have fun, friends.

Easter Blessings - DT ATC

Hi friends,

Meet again, after two weeks absent. I was really occupied with so many things. I traveled to other town to teach the kinder teachers. There were 400 teachers! They learned about recycle crafts and also corrugated crafts.

Here is my DT submission for ATC's With Attitude: Easter

I used image from Delicious Doodles: Away with bunnies.

As usual, I did some paper piecing on two brown bunnies. Take a closer look.

Don't hesitate to join the challenge. It's Easter time. Time to reflect all what Jesus has done to us. Be thankful.

How do you celebrate your Easter? Me? I think I just join the Sunday school event. I made Easter invitations for kids in our Sunday school in church. I made 250 pieces. The other lady will make the announcement papers and insert them in each bookmarker. Inserted behind the egg, rabbit and the grass.

Hope the kids will come and join the celebration. My own kids will participate in the child choir and child music ensemble. They will sing and play the songs well, for sure. :D

Ok, see you in this challenge.

Come and Grow Old With Me - ATC

Haaaaaiiiiiiiiii,

Back again to blogging. Whew! Why does time fly sooooo fast? From getting up to going back to be, the hours are in marathons. I missed the last ATC Challenge. And starting this March, I go again, make ATC for the challenge in ATCs With Attitude. This is now ATC blog only.

My image is from Bugaboo. The original digital image is in squares like this:

I cropped and resized it into this one:

I did some paper tole on the petals of the sunflower. Just 3 layers.. And for the brown center, I adhered it with a foam double tape. Take a closer look..

The sentiment is so touchy.. I want to grow old with my dearest hubby. He grew up 6 months older that I did. Hehehe. His Junior High classmates were my High School classmates. And some of my Junior School classmates were his High School classmates.I just found our pictures.

We were in the same company where where we met, 17 years ago. So young and innocent (?).. ;D

We were in Korea, 3 months ago.

I just hope we all are healthy. That's the best asset to go through this life, right?

Ok, don't hesitate to join the challenge and check out all the DTs creations. Making ATC will make you be more creative, because you need to be specifically put things on this very small piece of paper.. Try one..

See you around...

A Little Something On The Pink

Hello friends,

Well..well.. First of all, Gong Xie fat Chai, for you who celebrated Chinese New Year. Me, not. But I joined several CNY celebrations, such as at school this morning. There was a fashion show, where the dress were made of newspaper. take a look on the picture below. It's so fun.. They are Matthew and Natasya. They are my students in English Proficiency Program. Yes, I am their English teacher.. ;D

I joined the celebration only for an hour and went for the Tuesday Fellowship. And this late afternoon, I managed myself (a.k.a my time) to make a card for the February Challenge in my Facebook Account: Dwita's Crafty Crafts. The theme: "A little something on the pink". I made this card as a sample.  But I couldn't catch the pink color in the picture.

Source: MS border punch; MFT Dainty and flower die cut; PTI leaves die cut; PB leaves punch; McGill Fern punch; SU! Embossing folder; Diamond stickles

I love flowers. So I made white flowers to be that "a little something". Look at the detail of the flowers.

If you happen to have a Facebook Account, don't hesitate to "add friend" mine. You can join the monthly challenge there. As a participant, you will ALWAYS get goodies. International entries are welcome. Isn't it fun? I'll be waiting for your creations..

Until then, friends.
