Thinking Of You - Two Cats

Just finished this card this noon time. I enter this to join the Stretch n Bubbles Challenge # 4. You can always find free digi every Wednesday here. This time is the cat. Love the digi cat. I printed them in the patterned papers and also in the white papers to get the paws.
This is the sketch given :
And this is my take on the sketch using the digi.

Actually I already printed another little cat to be put near the tail of the bigger cat. But, when I put him there, it looked too crowded, so, I keep him for the latter card.

Thanks for looking....

Happy Mother's Day (2 & 3)

As I ever said, if there is number 1, there will be number 2, etc. So, here they are, the "Happy Mother's Day" cards number 2 & 3.

I entered these two cards to join Hero Arts Challenge the second round this month. I used HA Digi Vintage Women. Love this digi. I could cropped as I wished. And that's all for the challenge...

This is the second card. I love the green dotted ribbon. A new one in my gallery.

This is the third card. I pleated the ribbon. This is my first attempt in pleating.. Wow... I added the punched borders.

These two cards had been posted to Hero Arts Pool here and here...

Hero Arts April Challenge

Today I made two cards for Hero Arts April challenge. The theme is Home/Mother's Day. Love stamping with the Row of Houses.... I inked the stamp with 6 colors of Zig brushes. Love the result. The white cardstock was cloud stamped with the shadow ink, then I die cut with the nestability. I also adore these three-girl stamps. Love them..really love them. It seems to me that they represent my DDs. The third girl was not adhered to the card. She was there just for "Action..!!"... LOL... I used 6 kinds of Hero Arts stamps for this card.

Then I made the second card. I printed the digi image twice. The second one was not this vibrant. I cut it along the image, then I masked the first image with the second one. Then, I stamped the Japanese writing. I used Tim Holtz Distress ink.

This two cards are all in my Flickr Photostream and already posted in Hero Arts Pool, here and here....

TMITA 4x4 card base

Wow.. this is my fifth card today... Catching all challenges, Dwita??? LOL...
It's been quite some time that I don't join any challenges in TMITA (There's Magic In The Air).

This time the recipe is :
1. any Paper Cupcake image (ups, I only have the free ones..)
2. a 4x4 size card base ( well, this is the first time using this measurement..)
3. 1 ribbon (no problem)
4. 1 single type of embellishment (I chose a button, though I hardly tried not to use the punched leaves)
5. 1 stamped/printed sentiment (I prefer to print the words I long to wish..)
6. No patterned papers (wow..quite difficult, so I just stamped the cardstock with green leaves..)

So, this is my take on that recipe:

Hope it meets the recipe...

Happy Mother's Day (1)

Reading at the title, you'll think there will be more Mother's Day cards. You are right... As May is the month to celebrate the day, I'm sure I will make 2 or 3 more cards for my beloved ladies...

In this card, I used the stamp image (digi stamp) from Stretch and Bubbles Blog.

Colored the chicks with Copic Markers. The sentiment was printed from the computer.

I enter this card to join SNB Challenge.

Update: This card won the challenge.

Great Sista

Made this for my sister on her birthday on April 11, 2010. This is the second card for her, which I finally decided to give this one...(LOL).. She is a piano teacher. And when I searched my pp, I found this musical paper.. Ow, I was glad, and used it here. Well, from five siblings, she is the only one who continued learning piano until the Teaching Preparation and has been a piano teacher for more than 14 years. Proud of her...

The Tilda image was a gift from Maryann, colored with Copic; Punches from Fiskars; Butterfly digi stamp from Hero Arts

I enter this card for Just Magnolia Week 50: Pinch It Out challenge. I was inspired by the DT Donalda's card... So pretty in red.

Start Again - Digi Doodle Challenge

Wow... it's been more than a month that I didn't post anything here.
Teaching craft from town to town really occupied me and made me away from my craft room.
Tonight, I just finished starting again, stamping again. I made 30 Biblemarkers for the ladies in the Praise & Worship where I belong. As the youngest among all, I sometimes give them something. So, these tags are for them for the Easter celebration, Tuesday, April 6.

I used 5 flower stamps. Four Hero Arts flower stamps and one Penny Black flower stamp.

Here they are.
The sentiment "Selamat Paskah" means "Happy Easter".

I enter this creation to Digi Doodle Easter/Spring challenge. My friends, Monika Reeck and Vera, are ones of their newest DT. Congrats to you.

TMITA Challenge - I Heart You Tag

Hello my friends, happy Saturday....

It's been quite some months that I haven't made any tags... Wow.. This digi image is sooooo cute that I made three tags. At first, I only just printed 4 times, just in case I made wrong color. But, in my sight, they are all ok So, why not made three right away. These are for my DDs. Even they saw me taking these pics, they said, "Wow, Mom, my name's on it!! Ok, Mom, we'll wait 'till next Sunday.."... LOL. I promise them to give them a Valentine's gifts with the tag on it.. Hope the gifts will be surprises for them. Just small ones..

Here is my take on the digi image that Nina gives in There's Magic In The Air challenge, with theme: Valentine Tag and Stitching. Oops... so sorry, I don't have any needles on my craft desk. Precisely, I forgot where to put them. So many things around the table. So, I made faux stitching using my pens. Thanks Nina, for allowing us using stitching that can be hand drawn.

Color them with Copic sketches.

Each bear bears each name of my Dds. They are 12, almost 8 and 2,6. They are adorable. And my DH is the happiest man in the house, surrounded by 4 girls all the time...LOL....

Faith, Hope and LOVE - Paper Play Challenges Week 5

Wow... I found again this lovely stamp in the box. "How long have you been laying there, pretty stamp?". I bought it several years ago when I had a chance to visit Houston, TX. I think I bought it in Michaels. I still can recall that almost every day, I went to Michaels, just to feast my eyes. I stayed there for 3 weeks in that city and found fabulous and wonderful crafts there, as well as in Hobby Lobby. I joined stamping course ( which I was able to and pretend not to be able...LOL, just to see how they taught me..) I also learned how to emboss on craft tin. It's a lovely craft ever made.

Back to this stamp. This February is really full of heart, flowers and love. In the stamp, it says that "..But the greatest of these..is Love.." I couldn't agree even more... 1000% agree...

Here is my take for PaperPlay Challenges Week 5, with the theme : Love Notes. Do hope it matches...

Light blue cardstock stamped with Hero Arts Clouds with Soft Pool Hero Arts Shadow Ink, Stampabilities Faith, Hope, Love stamp, checked red ribbon, Copic Sketch and punched hearts

Hope you love this verse as much as I do....

Thanks for looking and appreciated kind comments.

Other Hibiscus

More about Hibiscus... Whenever I have to draw, it is always this flower which comes to my mind. Even for "batik" painting, this flower was there. And for fabric painting, I also drew this flower, as you also can see it on my photo in my Profile. I don't know what made me love this flower. What I know, this hibiscus will bloom in the morning. I consider it as a human being, who should get up in the morning and start the activities. And in the evening around 5, the flower will close all the petals and faces down. It looks like it needs some rest for tomorrow's energy. So is human. Needs to rest for gathering energy again....

If you happen to have time and click my Multiply, the title is "J'adore Hibiscus", with the hibiscus flower in the photo profile. This is my Multiply.

"Batik" painting for beginner, from the start to finish took 2 days (I joined this couse while I also was giving craft courses in Cilacap)

In another town, Pekalongan, while most ladies joined batik course, I joined this fabric painting. So enjoyable..

Thanks for looking and for your appreciated kind comments.

Amour

Wow!! It's already February. Even yesterday, 01022010 was said a mirror date. For me, it was a day to reflect what we had done in January. May the good deeds continue and the blessings of God be with us all the way.

It's just today that I had a chance to make another card. I really adore this hibiscus stamp. So, I do hope you all don't mind that I use it again. I love hibiscus. Once in my life, I ever had various kinds of hibiscus. The most I love is the broken white color petals with the maroon inside. So lovely.. Also once in the past, I even used hibiscus for my email address (not any loger active) to show how I adore this kind of flower. One more thing about this flower, even to my father's graveyard, twice a year for more than 16 years, while my siblings brought roses or orchids, I brought my own hibiscus flowers.

This card is for my brother who will fly to Chad this coming Thursday to work for WFP (UN) for 3 years. He likes green so much. This flower will remind him of me...LOL... (he gave me 2 books about Jakarta...prior to his leaving)
Hope you will also enjoy this pink hibiscus as well..

CB embossed green and white cardstoks, Penny Black Hibiscus stamp, Hero Arts CL325 Amour stamp, Zig markers on the flower and sentiment

I enter this card for PaperPlay Challenges Week 4, with the theme: color combo Pink, Green and White. Also for Penny Black Saturday Challenge Week 86, with the theme Someone Special. And of course for the sketch challenge in Inspirational Card Sketches #51(a bit late).

Thanks fo looking and for your nice comments.

Wow!! I'm back again, after a quite pause in making cards. Here is my card again.

I used the technique that Freddy (JDA S'pore) taught me in using brush pen. I love Hibiscus and bought (again) this Hibiscus stamp from Penny Black. I used Zig brush pens. Here, I used 6 colors.
The paper first was stamped with shadow ink: HA Soft Sand and the HA Kanji Poem stamp. Then I stamped the hibiscus on it. The two small tags on the left were stamped with HA Dots & Flowers stamp, then I stamped the sentiment, Happy Birthday stamp from Hero Arts, too.

Cook Up A Card - Thank You Card

Happy New Year, everybody...

Finally coming to 2010. My resolutions for this new year are staying healthy and keep creative. What are yours?

I'm glad to be back again to my hometown after more than 10-day away from home for an exhibition, for a vacation in Jakarta and abroad. Unfortunately I didn't find any craft things in that country.... or maybe I joined the tour that was not to the craft stores... LOL...

Anyway, here is my first post this year, as I become a new DT in a Cook Up A Card blog. First time ever on becoming a DT. For January, Susie has a new recipe: 3 brads, 2 flowers and 1 Big thank you. Here is my card for her blog.

Flowers stamp is from Hero Arts, Thank You stamp is from Adirondack, Flower brads are from Bradletz

Please don't hesitate to join this challenge. Just click this blog and join.

Merry Moose-mas

HAVE A FABULOUS CHRISTMAS
AND
A FANTASTIC CREATIVE NEW YEAR

to all of you and yours (everywhere you are)

Below is my last card to join the challenge this year. So, see you next year with more creative works and fruitful friendship. Love you all..

======

Once I saw this digi stamp, wow... It's really soooooooo cute... Thanks to Nina for this digi and the sketch for this week challenge. Nina has her own store, where you can find her digis. It is called Paper Cupcakes.

Here is my take on the sketch and the digi stamp for this TMITA Magical Monday challenge.

I printed this image 3 times. Why? Because I used paper piecing technique for the scarf and the antlers. I also cut the head and adhered on the scarf. For the rope of the small star, I cut thinly the blue navy paper. And the hat is with a purple pompom. The stars are now the double snowflakes with blue and mango colors. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, Holiday Dolls.

The closer look to see the paper piecing.

Here is the sketch given by Danielle . Isn't it a pretty sketch?
